I'm hopeful that today's update to Android Auto to 11.1.640254-release may help but I'm not holding my breath! It's not quite straightforward to test as I rely on someoone else to send a text or WhatsApp so it'll take a little time.

Firstly, apologies if this post should be in a different forum. I keep my Karoq , and my phone right up to date and in the last week or so, instead of a blank space on the screen where the number of outstandingg notifications is displayed, I have a minus sign on a circle, and NO notifications. The picture shows it just under the time. I have not changed any settings on the Phone either for Waze or Android Auto, nor on the car. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas about how to fix it as I rely on the notifications on a long journey.

Phil, my ex-demo MY21 edition 2wd 1.5tsi dsg has Crater wheels and 225/40R19 Bridgestones as standard. Those tyres were appalling and I swapped them as soon as possible for Michelin CrossClimate2s. Which, in contrast, are superb tyres with incredible grip winter and summer.

That was the best move I made. Surefooted, more comfortable, excellent tyre life.

I replaced the original Panasonic CR 2025 with a China made Energiser - no problems.

(Fingers crossed) My Pixel 6 connects wirelessly and stays so.👍

I reckon so as the pen holder isn't attached to the lid, but the LH side of the glovebox.

Wow, I went straight out to the car and, yes, it does have a flimsy pen holder. Who knew?

@Routemaster1461, When I got my MY20 1,5tsi Edition, I was having the SoS problems you describe. Sometimes it was triggered when going into a 5G area or changing towers in the 5G area. This was fixed by a software update until about 2 months ago when parked in a 5G area, I pressed the start button to continue listening to the radio while I ate my lunch and the SoS light and warning came on. It would not go and eventually I had the SoS module replaced which included reprogramming both keys. I never got to the bottom of the 5G question. Has anybody else had SoS issues associated with 5G I wonder?

Good to see some clear info up to MY20 but my Karoq is MY21. Is there a difference? Has anybody got any documentation to confirm the correct regime my car?

I can confirm that is normal. My fuel gauge usually moves after 70 or so miles from full.

Is this a common problem? My 2020 built 2021 registered ex-demo Karoq has thesame rubber seal partially detached on one side too.

Sorry I cannot find the answer here so: I'd like to know if it is possible to have the rear lights come on with the DRLs?

My 2021 Edition has the squealy brakes when reversing mostly when I have not used the car much. After a good long run the squeal does not happen.

When my battery went, I replaced it with an Energiser one that I'd had unused for a few years. I didn't knowingly press any button for 5s but it worked fine. Strange?
