Any clues for lifting the rear seats in the estate to pad out the underside.

Diesel cleaner?
During my ten year ownership of a diesel Mondeo I regularly treated yhe car to a dose of diesel cleaner. This was on the advice of my service garage . Is there any reason to cease this practice with the Superb?

Navigation settings
Hi , There must be a method by which you can set a final destination but also indicate a location that you would like to visit 'en route'. Can some kind soul explain to an idiot how that can be accomplished! Many thanks in hope!!

Columbus/update queries
Most important to unzip and then load three files onto the USB stick. I was struggling for ages having uploaded the unzipped files as one!

Do all mk3 2.0tdi use adblue
My July 2017 reg estate 150 hasn't got adblue. Confused I queried it with a main dealer who checked and confirmed that some weren't at that time. Others said 'think yourself lucky' !!!

Skoda connect app
As someone of advanced years I can say that getting information regarding servicing information is not successful. It just appeared under the old system! It asks me to say something - that I cannot understand. If anyone can explain please do! Why not just email a service record to owners if they require it? It can then be printed if required.

Spax adjustable shockers .
It doesn't! I have adjustable Spax on my classic Triumph and they are good. Just want to dampen the bounce a little!

Has anyone fitted these to Superb Estate MkIII.? Is it an easy DIY?

Folding the mirrors.
Got it, thanks! I didn't look far enough, impatient? Me!?

Folding the mirrors.
As a caravanner there are times when folding the rear view mirrors is useful to gain clearance ( motorway paydesks etc). My Ford Mondeo did it electrically but my Superb just says pull them in manuallly. Anyone actually done it, I dont want to apply force and bust the damn things!

Coding Clues?
Just being finnicky but is there a key to the batch of coding letters in the handbook, giving you info on how the car is equipped, DCC etc. ? I have found the colour code for the paint but the rest are a mystery.

Rear arb / sway bar upgrade
Going to see my friendly workshop in December to MOT my partner's car and also see if he could do my Superb arb's . Where do you buy them from, direct from Eibach/ H and R or get the shop to buy them? Of course in Sweden you might have better access to German bits! Anyone done the deed in the UK?

Rear arb / sway bar upgrade
Very true I'm afraid. I enjoyed my car time. Started with Austin 7's stripped and re-bodied (my first cost me £7.50!!! no battery) But the 750 club in those days was home to the likes of Colin Chapman who became Lotus. His correspondence to the magazines covers his development of the first Lotus 6 . He was just like everyone else a petrol head playing at chassis stiffness etc. Great days! i still have a longing to build a Bugatti type 35 on a Triumph GT6 chassis, but it's a dream only these days . I have built a Lotus 7 lookalike since I retired though!! Stay safe mate!

Rear arb / sway bar upgrade
Thanks for that. I can see the sense of stiffening both front and rear tbh. It should stiffen up the ride generally and that's OK.

Rear arb / sway bar upgrade
Thanks for that info Newbie69. If we ever get out of solitary I will explore again!!! I wouldn't be averse to stiffening front and back tbh. Just narks me that I can't do it myself! The price of old age I'm afraid.

Rear arb / sway bar upgrade
Hi, its a Mk3 ,17 reg fwd estate diesel 150. I tow a caravan (Covid permitting) but I am experimenting with the Sports DCC setting to control the wallowing or floating. My lifetime hobby has been building and restoring sports cars and I prefer a stiffer ride if possible. Not towed with the Superb at all actually as I bought it in Jan because my partner may require a wheel chair hoist. What travelling I have done in the beast indicated that the ride was a bit soft. I would probably look to my local VAG shop to do the change. I am rapidly approaching 81yrs old and crawling about isn't as easy as it once was and I like to know just what I need for the job in hand to avoid being sold a pup.
