Monte Carlo Parker Review-Change the suspension!
charles replied to charles's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
cheers guys,.I havn't yet experienced any bangs as yet though but i do try to avoid potholes, plenty of those in West Yorkshire! -
Taken from a Parkers review I found... I don't a any problem with the suspension on my Monte Carlo, maybe a tad lower would be better but certainly no ''horrendous bangs''!!! Imo any car running on 40 series low profile tyres is going to be a hard(er) ride, no mention of this!! ''Have you had any problems with the car? Nothing has gone wrong with it per say. However the suspension that comes standard with the car is very very poor, slight bumps and shallow pot holes on the road make a horrendous bang where any other car i've ever owned would roll over the same area without incident. I went as far as having the whole suspension changed to a Bilstein B12 Pro-Kit Suspension Kit, the outlay was expensive but worth it.''

Hi Took delivey of new Monte Carlo on Monday. Am delighted with it but have notice today the front Fog Light lenses have steamed up!! I'm sure this has been already discussed but can anyone remind me about this 'problem'. Is this a fault? or does it clear as quickly as it's appeared? It is annoying when in ALL other aspects the car is fantastic. Thanks C.

SKODA announces prices for all-new Rapid hatchback
charles replied to ColinD's topic in Motoring News
I don't see the point of this model, It looks virtually the same as an Octavia ! -
Hi, Has anyone fitted a Tail Pipe trim to their Monte Carlo!? or does anyone know if their is one that would fit? I've noticed the tailpipes on Monte's seem a long way back from the rear bumper so I dont know if its possible that one would be able to be fitted!? It's seems a shame Skoda didn't fit some nice chrome tail pipes as standard to the Monte!
-
Hi has anyone fitted or do yu know of a tail pipe trim available or that would fit a Monte Carlo ? Thanks.

vRS Milltek Catback Exhaust -Fitted (video and pics)
charles replied to Furbytom's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
lovely tailpipes, same design as I had on the Octy when I had it. Wish Milltek did a system for the Monte Carlo which as we all know dosn't have any tailpipes as standard! -
I wish the Monte had at least 1 chrome tailpipe out the back as standard! I notice Miltek have recently launched a new system for the latest vRS only.

I thought it odd that the Monte Carlo has rear drums but why in Norway does it have discs and not the UK!?
