  1. I've traced a problem which identifies 'Right front side parking sensor: no signal'. However it doesn't say which right front side sensor is at fault, and there are three of them. Furthermore, according to the Skoda dealership the two inner sensors are different from the third outer sensor. So I thought I'd buy one of each and assuming one solved the problem I would return the other to them, but only to be told that they don't accept unused electrical items back... So two questions please: would I be able to establish which sensor is faulty by getting it out and testing with a meter? where online can I find the correct OEM part number for the sensor? Thanks in advance for any input. R
  2. Ditto the above reccomendation, I've had several from Travell over the years and I also got my used one from eBay. R
  3. i don't know what code you're referring to, but as PetrolDave says you can find out which one in either VCDS or OBD11 (it was the former that gave me the correct info). R
  4. I had the exact same thing happen to me and to cut a looong story short the actual problem was an ABS sensor that'd failed, once that was replaced I was able to reset the tyre pressure warning (*along with a lot more warnings that had come up too). * https://youtu.be/pk_fbHo2PXU
  5. I have just come across this: Smart Link Activation Might be of interest? R
  6. Thanks, I've ordered a replacement unit so hopefully that'll get things working properly. R
  7. I'm havvng a problem when operating the screen on my MB2 Amundsen and I've no idea as to wether it is a software or a touchscreen issue. This video shows how some buttons respond when selected but others do not. Another example. However it's become a real problem now after having a TPS warning come up, which after topping up the pressure (in the one tyre that was 3psi low) I am unable to reset the warning and continued driving is throwing up more and more other warnings - which I assume are related. Help much appreciated!
  8. @pab567 Hello there, I'd be grateful for advice on upgrading my current infotainment please? Thanks. R
  9. would appreciate some help with my newly acquired 2014 please? Thanks R https://www.briskoda.net/forums/profile/112491-pab567/
  10. I quite agree varaderoguy, it was just a thought for those who don't have a battry charger. Personally I couldn't imagine life without having one in the garage - but then I've got motorbikes, cars and boat batteries that are all in need of charging up from time to time! R
  11. Just a thought here wrt connecting a battery charger/running the engine in order to keep the car voltage up: connecting jump leads to a donor car battery would be another option I'd havce thought? R
  12. Evening all i I’ve just bought a Mk3 and have been running around the forum trying to get up to speed with my cars facilities and specifically what options I’ve got regarding my infotainment unit. My car didn’t come with an owners manual (one on order now) but it does have an Infotainment manual which tells me I’ve got an Amundsen unit and the car has a Canton music system. I’d really like to ensure that I’m as up to date with things as I can be, but tbh this thread has left my head reeling! if some kind soul could help me here to do any upgrading available to me I’d be very grateful! Many thanks. R
