Full Sized Tyre as Spare
@MartiniB Thanks for the information about using 206/65R16 as a spare tyre size, I'm planning on getting mine replaced (with the Continental EcoContact 6) however I'm having trouble finding the correct steel wheel, I know it must have a PCD of 5x112 and a central bore of 57.1, but what about the offset? I have found this black steel wheel Trevble TR8667 which has an offset of 46.00 but not sure how it differs from the stock spare wheel. Any help would be appreciated.

Superb MK3 Headlight Distance
I've had this issue before- I think I still do actually. So do you quickly start the engine? I noticed that when I do that, the lights don't finish their "start-up dance" and remain stuck facing the immediate front of the car. Sometimes I had my car on a slight slope thinking it was a level sensor but I don't think it's got anything to do with that and more to do with myimmediately starting the engine from cold. My working solution which hasn't failed me yet is to turn the ignition on, wait until all the warning lights go off AND the lights finish their start-up routine, then start the engine.

Alcantara Factory Accessory - Opinions
Replacement leather wheel from factory is £600 with no buttons??? 🤯 I say stick with the leather steering wheel though obviously shop around. Some marks in the leather can be repaired with light sanding, heat and oil, probably easier than Alcantara. I've seen a Czech car parts website that list the 3 spoke leather steering wheel with buttons and DSG paddles new for under 200 euros.

What options are a must on the Mk 3
I got my Superb second hand, though when compared with my previous car it was all an upgrade and now there are certain things I wouldn't want to do without, such as: Heated windscreen and wing mirrors. Used it plenty of times last winter when there was ice on the screen, it really helps speed up your mornings and gets your screen clear and safe. Heated seats, though ventilated seats would've been great when it gets hot on leather seats. Auto Hold with DSG and ACC. A car of this size I feel needs both front and rear parking sensors, or the rear view camera to avoid hitting any high kerbs or low/soft obstructions like bushes or bollards. Memory seat function, since we have a self managed carpark other people might have to move my car and it's always a pain to readjust seats. One thing may be a gimmick but I would really consider as a retrofit would be a heated steering wheel.

All-in from Skoda - 2 year service package
I called my local dealership about this today and couldn't get it. I was told that I'll need to wait until I've used up my existing services (one remaining) and until my warranty runs out next year.

Hand gel damaged my steering wheel!
Today while driving back home I was wondering why my steering wheel was starting to feel grotty, sure it's been a hot and cold day, but I didn't think my hands were that sweaty to have had such an effect. When I parked up back at home I took a closer look at the steering wheel and tried to wipe it off with some interior cleaner and microfiber cloth but it started to peel, like little white specs from the top right (I usually drive with my right hand in the two o'clock position) which started to scare me. I tried using more water instead and the magic sponge, but it didn't seem to help. I don't have any leather cleaner or leather balm, though I'm eyeing up the Autoglym stuff for this but really wanted to stop the flakey, grotty feeling on the steering wheel. I imagine it'll only get worse if left untreated. Looking online, I think I believe the cause for this damage was from alcohol, specifically the alcohol hand gel I've been using so much of! And instead of making sure my hands were dry before grabbing onto the steering wheel, I thought it'd dry out, which it did but in doing so damaged the surface of the steering wheel. The only thing I was happy to confirm was that rubbing some olive oil over the damaged part seemed to have helped stopped it flaking, I can't seem to see any more white specs coming from it and it certainly stopped it from feeling grotty anymore. It's probably only just a temporary fix until I get something sorted out. At least now I'll know better than to gel up my hands before touching anything leather. Has anyone else had this issue? As a side note if anyone knows who has a round heated leather steering wheel with paddles for sale, give me a shout..

Retrofitting Rear camera
There's one in Redditch, VW Retrofit, another member on here had his Superb done there. Both Sasha and this place installs the high line camera with washer.

Loose side hanger in boot
Hi all, just a quick question about my 2017 Superb hatch. One of these side hangers in the boot has always been loose and feels like it might break off. Is there any way to safely take it off and tighten it up? I imagine there should be some sort of screw behind it. I tried using a plastic tool to pry it open but I felt like I was going to break something. Does anyone know what to do? Thanks and I hope you are all keeping safe.

Non-OEM reverse camera with trajectory or dynamic guidelines
Congrats on retrofitting the camera. Did you need to do any coding or was it one of those plug and play cameras?

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Interesting, how'd you do it? Wouldn't this be something that would get done during a service? Also curious as to what improvements or changes there are.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
I picked up these earlier in the month, the silver one was something of a gift and then the black one which I bought much later on. The silver one is pretty heavy and somewhat unfinished, you can sorta see from how huge the bracket is with the leather strap going through it, you also have your key fob indicator concealed. The black one I got from aliexpress is much nicer and feels more finished, it makes the old key fob look new (you can see how the middle buttons are kinda bulging out from use). I'm just considering if I should get a leather Superb strap from eBay to complete the look.

End of 5 year Warranty - Extend ?
I was curious about the extended warranty and looked for a quote. I didn't buy new but second hand but the sales rep gave me an additional year warranty for my 2017 Superb (Skoda Approved Used Warranty which I guess is similar to the Named Component Warranty). An annual All Component Cover with £0 Excess would cost me £750 (not including AA Roadside Assistance), yikes! I think I'll be looking elsewhere for extended warranty once my year runs out, I was wondering if you've have any issues getting claims? The Fabia side of the forum seems to have experience quite some trouble with the extended warranty.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Thanks for replying, no problems about the photos I'm just trying to see how professional, well, tidy they are in their work. They have the reversing mat which is a good sign and their workshop looks tidy. The local Skoda dealership quoted me £500 and how it would take 2 working days for them to fit a "high line" camera with no washer if the photos were anything to go by, they had no idea what kind of camera it would be until they got it in. I think the washer works either when you put it into reverse gear, similar to how the rear wiper will activate when you put the car into reverse gear or when you turn on the rear washer, 2 hours is actually a great time all things considered, it'll take me just under 3 hours to get there. I think there are one or two cafes within walking distance too.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Hey that's a pretty good price, and if your pictures were anything to say, it's a high line camera with the washer spray? It's not too far from me so I might take a plunge and go for it too, though is your Superb a hatchback of estate? Did they take any pictures of the wiring/installation? And how'd you spend those hours waiting?

Broken tail light
I was looking around for a spare door handle to replace one of mine and came across this breaker on eBay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2017-SKODA-SUPERB-PASSENGER-SIDE-INNER-REAR-TAIL-LIGHT-/373056850197?hash=item56dbebc915 Though it seems to be the D variant yet it has that floating triangle. Good luck!

Boot tray...but which one?
I looked into the names and it's kinda interesting to see how they change. Saloon/Hatchback/Limousine in Germany/Sedan in the US. This is what you have. Estate/Combi/Station Wagon in the US. "Kombi" in Germany is short for Kombinationskraftwagen ("combination motor vehicle"). As for the boot tray, are you looking for carpet or rubber? I've kept my eye on this rubber one, I haven't pulled the trigger yet because I like using those floor wedges https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/142315298488 If you're after carpet, there are various websites like say https://www.carmats-uk.com/cmbm/skoda/superb/769?product=standard-1

Scuffed Front Passenger Door Handle - Advice?
Is that so the painted finish is level all around as to being painted off the car? It does make sense to do it that way but I wonder if you'll even notice anything from behind the handle. £125 does seem rather reasonable compared the the other prices! I actually tried that website a week ago for something else but didn't have any luck. I'll try again though and see what comes from it. Thanks for reminding me!

Scuffed Front Passenger Door Handle - Advice?
I tried looking around for door handles but I'm not coming up with anything, maybe I'm just not looking at the right websites. I'll probably do what you've said, contact a few paintshops for a few quotes and hope that it won't be too expensive... It feels like there's a rough lip on the surface, so I'm guessing that's the plastic underneath. Thanks for your helps guys.

Scuffed Front Passenger Door Handle - Advice?
Hi all, so I have this slight scuff along the passenger side door handle and was wondering what's the best option to get it fixed? I want to hear some different thoughts and opinions on how to go about this. The car has a few scuffs like this from the previous owner and you don't really notice it unless you go looking for it, but I'm slowly getting them done up through some claims. Unfortunately, my scratch and dent insurance ruled this particular one out because it's not covered under my policy. I briefly considered looking and buying a spare Skoda Superb Mk III front passenger door handle in the same colour (LY7G QUARTZ GREY) but it doesn't seem feasible from a quick online search. The only other two options would be to take it to a car body specialist and see how much they'll charge for it or I'll have to try and fix my myself, maybe with a bit of sanding down and polishing. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Find me a Superb...
I've seen a Dragon Green Superb around my area, it's such a unique colour that you can't help but notice it, You certainly won't mistake it for a "taxi". I got my Superb just before lockdown, I was browsing around for an Octy, something with a bigger engine, a more confident and comfortable driving experience especially when you're on the motorway as well as a better colour (I had Corridor Red last time, not for me unfortunately). I saw and test drove the Superb 220 nearby, which was under £19,000 with under 6k on the clock. I quite like the 6 speed DSG over the 7 speed DSG, I always felt it was a bit too twitchy but with the 6 speed everything feels so much more smoother and quieter too. I moved on from a estate to the hatchback too, honestly the boot size is massive so I'm not missing anything and I've yet to fully load it up. Maybe the estate might be better for loading certain large square loads but then you get more road and wind noise though ultimately it depends on what is available.

Reversing camera
Thanks for clearing things up. I'm really interested and keen on getting a highline with washer retrofitted but I think I might bodge the job. I might purchase the parts for a specialist fitter. So if the correct dataset is installed on the camera, do you still need to enable the camera through VCDS? Is there a manual? What do you need to purchase for the washer parts, like the pipe to connect to the current system, or would that usually be included in the kit? Many thanks.

Reversing camera
Unfortunately I'm not sure, perhaps the model sold by Skoda should be suitable for the Superb Mk III (that being said, I sent them an email to which they told me I had contacted the Slovak infoline and to ask the UK infoline instead - still waiting for a reply!). My local Skoda dealer just took my registration and said it should fit but I'm hoping to see if I can get anything sorted with the washer jet - not essential but it would be nice. I've also sent an email of the part including my VIN to carsystems.eu to see if they can tell me whether or not it's compatible but they have yet to reply. I have also found another website that also sells the reversing camera (both highline and lowline but minus the washer jet): http://vagtec.co.uk/eshop/skoda/superb/2015/genuine-skoda-oem-retrofit-kit-rearview-camera-high-superb-3v.html I believe this depends on what code your head unit has, if you can pull it out there should be a code on the back plate like on this example (3V0 035 020 C😞

Reversing camera
Thanks for the photo! I like how the dynamic guidelines move according to your steering, and I believe those are the two to three camera modes (one regular, one ultra wide, one top down for a tow bar). I imagine that they ordered from here: https://eshop.skoda-auto.sk/en_SK/rear-view-camera-superb-iii/p/3V0054634 It does seem to match the one in your photo and it seems like there isn't a washer jet. However when I went to the dealer to have my car MOT'd I looked at their showroom Superb L&K and it had a reversing camera with a washer jet. Basically the same but with a little nozzle sticking out as you might be able to see from this website: https://www.carsystems.eu/skoda-superb-iii-3v0-high-line-rear-view-camera-kit-with-guidance-lines,id2288.html

Reversing camera
Hi all, I have a 2017 Skoda Superb SEL Executive that I'm looking to retrofit a reversing camera too. I'm looking for the high line version that has dynamic guidelines, different camera modes *and* the washer jet. I've spoken with my local Skoda dealer and they seemed a bit vague on the model and features of the camera, they just simply told me that they order direct from Skoda and wouldn't know about the part until it arrives. It seems like it will have dynamic guidelines but nothing else. They quoted me £500 over two days. Has anyone had it done through their Skoda dealer?
