  1. Since I bought it, with barely 18k kms and with plastic protectors still not removed, the car has not been as smooth as a 45k euro car should be. I have taken other models and they are not as smooth as they should be either. I changed the Pirelli P7 that came as standard for some Michelin Primacy 4 and after 3 balancing the car started to go "acceptable". Now the vibrations have returned, which do not always appear, which is the most desperate. I have to assume that it is the wheels (18") and I am thinking of going down to a 17" rim, but I would not like to spend so much money and continue the vibrations. Another option is to put 245/45/18 tires and gain a few millimeters of tire height to make driving better. I installed last year Koni Special Active and the difference with the standard ones is not much, in fact I hear noises in the rear with potholes at low speed. So I don't rule out putting some twin-tube Sachs, cheaper and just as effective. Koni's marketing department is far superior to its engineering department. If anyone has been able to solve the worldwide widespread Skoda Superb vibration problem, please tell. TDI 2.0 190PS 4X4
  2. Without a doubt and after 7000 kms with Koni special active installed, I think I should have ridden the B6s. For the next time.
  3. I have a Style 2.0 TDI 190cv 4x4 and it doesn't have any extra insulation, that's why I did it on mine.
  4. I live in Madrid, in the center. It does not rain much. For me, the Primacy offer me durability with sufficient features for urban and extra-urban use and highway trips to high cruisers. I've been with the current 50,000 kms and they still have a lot of drawing left, although they sound a little more, but this may be due to the Koni Special Active.
  5. For the next tire change I will install 245/45/18. In addition to gaining 6 mm in height, and 10 in width, they are between 20 and 30 euros cheaper (Michelin Primacy 4 in Spain)
  6. https://es.aliexpress.com/item/1005001334556236.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.44.485d194dzq7tFP&gatewayAdapt=glo2esp There are several users who have installed them in Russia who have installed them and in Spain there was a company that sold them (more expensive).
  7. No problems of any kind. It has a heat sink and the headlight itself does not get hotter than with a xenon. Used on long night trips with no problems. Used in the rain and very good. This summer I will use them, but they heat up less than a xenon. A recommended change.
  8. Installed d3s led bulbs. The brutal 3s change compared to xenon and better than the standard original led.
  9. That way of measuring is super inaccurate. It is better to measure from floor to fin.
  10. Also value the installation of OEM stabilizer bars from the Golf R or Kodiak, I have installed them on both axes and it is an almost more important change than the springs and cheaper, especially the rear one that you can put on yourself.
  11. I have them installed with standard springs (it came with raised suspension) and the change from the OEM is important, but I expected more. On cobblestone streets, the rears are noisy, on the highway at high speed they are fine. I think that KONI's marketing department is better than the R+D+i department. If I had to change the shocks right now I would go for the Bilstein B6 and if I had to adjust the price go for the SACHS.
  12. I have never had DCC but I do have Koni SA and Golf R/Kodiaq stabilizer bars. Mine had raised suspension for bad roads (PPD). Install standard Lesjofors springs and those mentioned by KONI SA. The change has been important, especially due to the stabilizers, the front one is complicated to put on but the rear one is easy and you can put it yourself (there are many second-hand ones on ebay or car scrapyards). I know and it has happened to me, quality problems with some shock absorbers and then the brand is not responsible. If they come out good, they work well, they don't eat up the bumps and are soft at low speed nor do they get hard at high speed. They are better than OEM but The best thing about KONI is their marketing department.
  13. I did not complicate myself and put Sachs biturbo and run. They are very similar to the B4 or even better.
  14. These Christmas days I have come to my parents' town where the roads are one lane in each direction and there is no lighting except when you get to the towns, and I can say that despite my initial reluctance, both short and long light It's much better than xenon. In fact, some friends were surprised to see the light circulating at night.
  15. I honestly did not know that the Koni SA were so delicate and / or defective. I have never heard anything like that from Bilstein or Sachs.
  16. Easier still... Refer autodoc to the official Koni page. http://j13187.servers.jiffybox.net/com/en/finder/skoda/superb/superb-combi-3
  17. It's a manufacturing defect, of course. KONI's quality leaves a lot to be desired.
  18. I don't know which thread I commented on, I also have Koni SA and the references are what you say. I had problems with a shock absorber as soon as it was installed, it made a noise (clonk) when turning the steering wheel and when starting the march. Thanks to the fact that the workshop bought and installed another one, now it is going well, but they told me that Koni Spain considered that this noise was normal and did not correspond to a guarantee. The noise was incompatible with safe and pleasant driving. I will never install Koni again or recommend it to anyone. Good luck!!
  19. I went back to the box to look at the levels and at the end of the Drive the extra 200 ml that entered when the car was raised on one side came out. I have also checked the haldex and refilled a bit. I think maintenance has ended well, after the scare of confusing the screw.
  20. Yes, but it says that you have to fill it until oil comes out of the hole, just like the haldex.
  21. In two years I had not realized that. What I'm checking is if more than 100 highways go straight. I'm not entirely sure. I have not disconnected it. I got an error, but I deleted it and it hasn't come back.
