Is it at all possible to photoshop a picture of a brilliant silver mk2 octy elegance, with colour coded bumper strips please. I'm considering doing this but wanna see what they would look like first cheers

Every now and then when i get into the car and drive off, the little red immobiliser light on the drivers door stays lit. Turning the engine off and starting up again eliminates the problem. Like i said, its only on occasions this happens and not every time. Any advice would be appreciated

the problem is a lot of cheap, base model cars have this stuff and tbh, i dont want my car to look cheap, especially when its an L&K. Its not so much what other ppl think that bothers me but what i think every time i look it

What are your thoughts? Does it look good or bad? Im constantly debating whether to do something with the trim on my L&K octy mk2. For example remove it or colour code it. Ive already put a chrome strip just above the trim hoping it would do something but im still not overly happy with it. You would have thought that being the top of the range model, Skoda would have colour coded the dam stuff.

Obviously id love the oem kit or mfd3, but this has got my attention. Was considering looking at a sat nav with built in bluetooth but what do u reckon? Would this be a better option or would it, like steve said be too cluttered?

cant say im overly impressed with it either. Might have to invest in some gliptone or Sonus

in the most recent Whatcar? they do a test with different tyre inflators. you just set the pressure you want and the machine does the rest. might be a worthy investment. would definitely save me the effort when using a foot pump!

why not do the actual grill in silver?

Gliptone products seem to go down well on DW but it is a cream. I use it every month on my leather seats and its great. Conditions the leather really well and you get the added bonus of it actually smelling like new leather

mines the upgraded elegance with the badge under the octy badge on the back. Was thinking about sticking one on the front grill, vrs style.

the aux socket wont charge or do anything fancy. All it allows you to do is use the cars speakers as a ginat pair of headphones. Try Maplin Electronics ? Website- 1.5TB Maxtor External Desktop Hard Drive for the 3.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack cable. Problem with the one i got is that its about 20m long!!! i htink you can get ones that are 30cm though

As a consumer I am after a good reliable product, at a low price with good aftercare. Thats all. If a dealer charges too much i go elsewhere but they'll still get my business when it comes service time or if i want any accessories etc. Sounds mean but i only care about myself and what i can afford when it comes to a car. i dont really give a ****e bout dealers if they need to charge so much to break even. if its too expensive for me then tough luck. their loss. I just want whats best for me and if brokers is the solution then so be it. Btw this is a great thread to read, you guys are really laying into each other.Bout time something exciting happened on this forum.

i use magic tree leather airfreshner. ok so it doesnt smell new nor does it smell of leather but it does smell bloody lovely
