  1. Couldn't agree more And I haven't even started driving the 280 4x4. But went from low 20mph in the Legnum VR4 to mid 20's in the Legacy, I'll be happy with 26mpg, especially after I get a REVO Stage 1 completed
  2. Hey Nota, yep that's the one. I saw it up for sale last Sunday, test drove on Monday and purchased Been looking for the right replacement motor for a while now, drove another 280 earlier in the year, but timing wasn't right. So jumped on this one. Cheers
  3. Hey Skud, it's a Sportline as well I used do all the stereo stuff myself, but never on a VAG. If needs be, which I think it likely will, I'll be getting on to Audio Advice up North, great guys and know Phil for far too many years....
  4. Thanks Chris, am looking forward to picking it up and starting a nice long journey...
  5. Cheers varaderoguy, Will have a proper play with it when I get my hands on the car. Did competition set-ups in a previous life, so want it sounding as I want it
  6. Hey all, Based in Kildare area, Ireland. Just put deposit down on, and planning on picking up a 2017 280 4x4 next week. Last 2 cars have been JDM fast wagons, a 1997 Mitsubishi Legnum VR4 for 8 years, then a 2004 Subaru Legacy GT for the last 10 years. You can see my history in holding onto cars and treating them well. Looking forward to the new experience, has the Canton stereo, but 1st impressions is seems lacking in bass, but will wait and see, Sub was set to +7, but just on the radio. Also thinking a Stage 1 tune might be in the future.
