2018 superb sportline
Neither which is what has been as much of a surprise. Just that not seeing the actual pressure reading leaves a doubt about the operation of the system

2018 superb sportline
I've set mine. And it's never warned in 6 months, sort of makes me suspect of the system. But will no doubt be converted the first time I do get a warning Can understand Wazza's feelings not not having a full TPMS.

Superb III Combi stereo build
Grills on the mids fitted. To my eyes, looks a lot better with them in place. Normally they wouldn't be fitted, so needed some fettling

Broken front speaker replacement
It will fit, but that's only the start of things. Not 100% sure, but presume the standard stereo has a separate tweeter(top of door/behind mirror) and mid(the damaged speaker you have). Changing to a two way speaker (your Ebay ad) might make things sound funny or bad. If the door speaker has nothing in the middle of it, might be worth looking for a direct replacement. But as a minimum replace both door speakers. Plus connections might not be a direct plug and play.

Superb III Combi stereo build
Not a distraction at all, barely affect the sight lines compared to the A pillars. They are visible from the outside, but I tend to lower volume before parking up in an unknown area/parking lot, so as not to attract attention. Have always had decent systems, so am wary, but not paranoid. Did have a motor stolen once(many moons ago), but it was by scrots looking for fun, rather than after the car or system. Plus few people here have decent systems, so not really on the radar for those un-desirables.... I am working on getting the matching Hertz grills fitted to the mids, just needs some more fettling

Debadge - Dash
Ah, I'll do a bit of filling and flatting and try a tiny bit of touch up paint, see how noticeable it is then. Had a feeling half way through and should have stopped, instincts not followed...

Superb III Combi stereo build
Bit of both would be my guess, speakers are a cheap construction Just the sub area and front doors. And after a few decent drives with various types of music, the car doesn't really need more. Oh, car does have full sunroof, so not much point sound deadening there

Superb III Combi stereo build
Just the optical cable, nothing else. No adjustments needed, was a flat signal straight from source. Yep, all HD digital system. And not cheap 😬 but I am planning on keeping the Superb for many many years

Remapping
I got both engine and dsg Stage 1 done at the same time, highly recommend. Did get mine done when Revo had a sale one to save a few quid, but not sure when their next one will be.

Canton or no Canton ?
Hey Ben, That wasn't my system under discussion, I'm using the MOST to optical interface: https://www.audison.eu/products/bit-dmi/ This is the system in question: https://www.facebook.com/170124986379280/posts/4073941862664220/ I'm getting a straight line clean output to the DSP.

Thanks, me too. For the 1st time, I didn't do the install, so not many pics of the routing and hidden components. All the kits is listed above, bar the use of an Audison bit DMI to change the MOST to an optical. Request away any other specifiic pics and will see what I can do.

Just not sure of the reaction of the dash (all parts) to even gentle heat gun use...

Ok, guess I'll be brave tomorrow

Third vote for Revo, very happy with my Stage 1

Debadge - Dash
So, following on from the exterior debadge: Had never really noticed the interior badging till reading Sasha's new purchase and great work. So, thinking I need to get rid of the interior Sportline badge, but want to ensure I do no damage to the other trim. Am thinking of using no heat, just dental floss and very gentle on the t-cut.... thoughts? Also, since the car no longer has a Canton system, any idea how easy it is to remove the Canton grill badges?

Canton or no Canton ?
The only way to really know if you like the sound of a system is to listen to it. Same as test driving a car, different inputs, different genres, different levels. If you want an upgrade, go to your local car audio specialist and have a chat. Be honest with your wants and budget, they can cater for all different wants (or at least they should) just don't bother with the likes of Halfords....

Cat back system installed superb 280
Nice Good fruity note, especially under load.

Sportline replacement shock absorbers
They were stock Subaru, so not sure if B6's. Ride was more harsh than the Koni's now. But did what was needed of them for a sports estate. I'm no car handling expert, but they weren't as nice as the stock set-up on the Mitsubishi VR4 I had, but then it had Evo 4 running gear

Sportline replacement shock absorbers
Only had the Koni's on the car for a few months, but where are you getting the concern from? The Bilstiens I had on the Legacy needed a rebuild after about 100k miles. But never had Koni's before

Sportline replacement shock absorbers
Professionally fitted here too, no reports of any issues.

Handle came off
Oh, the joys of 2nd hand car ownership... (have never bought new myself) But agreed, too much of a safety risk, needs to be repaired correctly, wifey would be even less impressed otherwise

Canton or no Canton ?
Fair enough, hopefully you get what you want out of your system. I'm not using my rear speakers at all (I don't think rear fill is important at all)

Canton or no Canton ?
Or it's just the quality of the Canton system
