Anyone else ordered a new Kodiaq?
Multitude of factors. Whether the car was ordered through a dealer or a broker. How many allocations the dealer has used up for the Kodiaq at the time you order. What options are specified. In general though, order times should be going down as the chip shortages resolve and Skoda like other manufacturers have ramped up the pricing which has reduced demand slightly.

New UK brochure and prices April 2023
That's what I heard as well, it's the list price not the OTR price. So the RRP for a 1.5 Sportline is currently £39,135 which is under.

iPhone 11 won't charge or connect to Apple CarPlay via USB A port on 2019 Kodiaq
Hard to imagine it's anything other than a dodgy USB port if there's intermitted power and car play connectivity.

Kodiaq 2.0 TSI Edition DSG [7 Seat]
Yeah with the options it probably would have been more like 35-36k. With a dealer discount of 20%, would have ended up costing around £29k back in 2017. Not saying £26k isn't good value today, but I would feel aggrieved at paying that much for a 2017 plate without any manufacturers warranty left on it. Looks like it's missing the interior LED pack as well, which I'm surprised by, unless it was missed in the advert.

Kodiaq 2.0 TSI Edition DSG [7 Seat]
Personally I would try and aim for <4 years old especially with a DSG box. It's sister car the Tarraco usually goes a bit cheaper 2nd hand, worth a look. The £26k price, may not be far off how much it cost new back in 2017 after the usual discounts, I'd feel a bit aggrieved to be paying that amount.

New UK brochure and prices April 2023
When I ordered mine in June 2021 the acoustic glass was still part of the sleep pack option. When it arrived October 2022, it had no acoustic glass. The be fair though, it is very quiet inside. From what I can tell the pricing for Kodiaq options is typically 10 to 30 times the component cost. E.g. wireless charger is probably a £10 component, they charge £285 for it. Personally I think they should include more options as standard, and reduce the cost of the remaining options.

"Sticky" clutch pedal
I had a Seat Altea ( same platform as Yeti) where the clutch pedal was catching both going down and up at a certain point. Can't remember if I had to stick my toe underneath to flip it back up. At the time I discovered it was a not an uncommon problem and there was a VW TPI for it. The parts used to fix it were 1K0721357A Clutch Pedal Master Cylinder Clip ( I think this replaced an older version) 533867910A Felt strip

Anyone else ordered a new Kodiaq?
They still make manual Kodiaq's for certain other countries but they've been dropped from the UK option list. I imagine it's because sales of the manual were low, and the DSG boxes probably cost about £100 more to make, but they can bump up the prices up by a few £k. It's a shame because the manual +1.5 engine is a really good combination, based on my manual MY23 Kodiaq. You can still get the Tarraco as a manual as well, if people want what is effectively a manual Kodiaq.

Looking at moving from Superb to Kodiaq, after some feedback.
Crew protection assist and rear side airbags. If you're carrying people in the back, then definitely a good thing to have the optional airbags to protect their body. Agree with the comments about Rubber mats. The Kodiaq ones aren't bog standard, they really cover the carpeted areas much better. Personally I would add the rough road package as well based on what you've said. Will keep some of the crud getting into the engine bay. Also worth having a peek at it's sister car the Seat Tarraco if you're specifying a lot of options. You tend to get a higher spec car for less money, but there are some subtle differences.

kodiaq specs
Got the maintenance manual. Won't be doing any myself, but interesting none the less.

kodiaq specs
Had a go with erWin to get the build codes. Took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to actually view them. Highlighted in red, which menu option it is (after entering VIN). There's 100's of build codes, handy to be able to download them all as a pdf. The optional extras I added seemed to appear bunched up with no family field.

What do I replace my Skodiaq with
It's a 2019 Sportage 1.6 petrol, 4th gen facelift, so not one of the new 5th gen ones. I'd say the Kodiaq is better in nearly every area, engine, gear box, handling, suspension, road noise and the sound system is incredible. But for reasons I find hard to explain I prefer using the Sportage at the moment for short / medium journeys. It might be because it's slightly smaller and sits lower to the ground so feels more car like and a bit more fun to drive? The plan was to sell it when the Kodiaq arrived, but my wife loves driving the Sportage so much, we've still go it.

Yeah exactly. During my year and half wait for a Kodiaq, I got a 3 year old Sportage. The 7 warranty ideally needs all the services to be done on time by a Kia dealer. Finding a car which had that was difficult. If it's not and you put in a warranty claim they may want to see exactly what oil and parts were used during those non Kia services.

7 gear 4x4 DSG gearbox error codes for a 2018 TSI Kodiaq!
Reading this forum, I've certainly been put off ever owning a Kodiaq with a DSG that's outside its three year warranty.

PCP for our Kodiaq ends soon and we would like to keep it - now what ?
You've done well! A personal loan is a good option. If the balloon payment is 11k, looking at about 5% interest rate which will be around £200 a month over 5 years ( via someone like Tesco).

Anyone else ordered a new Kodiaq?
Yep, the SE Drive disappeared for a while from the UK lineup. This is from the brochure last year (2021).

Anyone else ordered a new Kodiaq?
The trim is SE. Ordered post facelift expecting a MY22 (It's a MY23). Due to the options I got, the only difference between it and the SE Drive is the alloys and the sat nav (which seems to be the same). Would have ordered an SE drive, but it wasn't in the lineup at the time. Judging by the photos / manual I don't think the 8" display is missing anything over the 10" virtual cockpit other than maps. Similarly I doubt I'll use anything other than Waze/TomTom via the phone which won't display on it anyway.

The digital dash turned out to be the virtual cockpit. It's not available as an option on the trim I've got, so unsure how that happened. Maybe they were short of the 8" display that day. Spoke to Skoda online and they confirmed the car has the virtual cockpit option fitted. For Bolero vs Amundsen it's a bit confusing. In the manual there's two different types of Bolero one with a NAV button and one without the NAV button. Mine had the NAV button, but I couldn't use it it without paying £340 to licence it. I eventually caved in because I wanted to see what the maps looked like on the virtual cockpit. The maps must all be pre-installed because it started working straight away. There's no SD card slots anymore, so map updates are over the air if you've got 'Infotainment Online' subscription. The Bolero + NAV looks physically and operational identical to Amundsen as far as I can tell. I'm guessing they are the same system.

Mines finally arrived today after 69 week wait 😀 The digital dash is quite nice. Struggling to work out if it's fitted with a Bolero or an Amundsen infotainment system (ordered with Bolero). Is there an easy way to tell? Or are they the same system now? It has the NAV button, but it's asking for money to purchase that option.

Had an update today on my June 2021 order. Didn't have a build week when I check a few weeks ago, but apparently it's now built. The email doesn't fill me with confidence though 🤣🤣😭

I'm fan of the Kia Sportage (4th Gen) . Sad to say, but modern VAG group cars feel like they've been cost engineered to last 3 years before components start to fail, where as KIA with their 7 year warranty seem to put more effort into having a reliable platform. Also a different approach to options. I've got the bottom of the range Sportage that was available at the time, and it still has these as standard: heated front / rear seats, dual climate control, reclining rear seats, rear parking camera, front camera for speed sign recognition, auto main beam dip and it can steer itself (active lane assist) etc.
