Bit of a senior moment didn't lift the boot floor up high enough, only to the rear hinged bit, lifted it higher and there it was a towing eye..🤭🤭

Picked up my SE L last week, manufacture date was 13/11/20 so is a model year 21, just had a look for the towing eye and doesn't appear to be there or a place to put it, does it mean it was removed for model year 21?

Easy, just 2 torx screws in each one, visible bottom left and right of poly moulding

I guess with just in time these days that makes sense, shame as could have hooked it straight into my dash cam..

Now that the Karoq is available with the option of a USB connection in the rear view mirror, does anybody know whether the connection is always there, even if you do not select that option , if the wire is there it maybe possible to connect to it..

Cheers Chris, tried the sliding parts both ways, thought I had one on so did the other side, went back to the first touched it and it fell off. I did wonder if the U brkt was supposed to go over both the plastic tongue's or just over one and the metal flange, impossible to tell from those useless pictures, currently left them off as it seems quite sturdy without, may have another go when I recover from the frustration of trying to get them to stay on🤔😉

I guess I'm fitting it right, the two rubber tongues on the front mud flap go either side of the chassis flange , then the u brkt goes either side of the rubber tongues then tighten the bolt.

Anybody had trouble on the front flaps, getting this stupid u bracket to stay on, when I tighten it it just works it's way off......

Just wondering, did anybody who has fitted the front flaps find it necessary to follow item 5 and 6 in instructions and remove plastic trim under wing when drilling hole?
