Just for those who could not be familiar, those screenshots are coming from VCTool, SFD section. In my case, it's not urgent at all, I can survive without it, but at some point I would be interested in enabling the traffic sign recognition. I have all the hardware needed, the vehicle is equipped with the lane assist camera. I have already tested modules and I can access all except the 5F ... well, assuming that the coding and adaptations steps are the same that the ones for enabling it on the mk3 ... but I am not quite sure of that. And with time, I would need coding for the 360 view retrofit, but I think we are quite far for that, in terms of coding and in terms of hardware as well.

Same in my case, car delivered in December 2020. For the time being, no complaints about the performance so at the time of the change either I repeat same configuration or I will go for the pilot sport 4s.

In my case, I have delayed the update for early September ... If I book now the update I am truly sure that I would get the same upgrade as @RRovan here in France.

Finally, muffler purchased ! Wanted to go for the Forge one, but the shipping + custom costs was important, so I purchased the one proposed by Wagner Tuning. Personally, I have a very good experience with Wagner Tuning, downpipe and intercooler installed in my previous BMW 335d, so I do not expect any problems with the fitment.

Interesting subject here. I am still running on 1666 software version, never touched the dealer for an upgrade because I was not experiencing any kind of issues with the system. I am going to check before the availability of the upgrade. Thanks @VAGProf for the info. Cheers!

Wow, no no, not at all. This is an additional ECU connected in parallel with the stock one, installed inside the engine bay, with a dedicated mounting support. I've never seen an installation manual, but I would say that ABT ECU is connected between several engine sensors (Boost, coolant, speed, manifold pressure, ...) and the original.

Yes, with the ABT one you keep the warranty. In fact, the ABT one, by far, is the most complex to install. I had a quotation from them and the installation takes 1h30 minutes and, in my case, was planned to be done in a VW official garage. The issue with the ABT one is the price, almost 4 times the price of the GTS black one ...

Yep, cold induction kit is in the to do list :-) ... let's see who is the first releasing hardware. Revo's Golf GTI VIII seems to be quite advance so hopefully parts will come very soon.

I am starting to think on hardware parts to be purchased for the EA888.4. and, in this particular case, the turbo muffler delete. Considering that the engine architecture is share between gen3 and gen4 ... I would say that the item from previous version would fit perfectly on the gen 4 ... Any RS 2.0 TSI owners on the room with that improvement already fitted? Any problems so far for the installation? Cheers!

Mine was build as well in November 2020. And to be honest, besides a plastic trim that was not fitted properly and was doing a crackling noise in the soundaktuator area, nothing to be remarked. For me, what's is quite annoying, and hoping that VCDS development arrives soon, is the check list I have to do before starting to roll ... lane assist off ... check! ... start/stop off ... check! ... driving profile auto ... check!

Mine as well (EU version) ... left the factory on November 2020 with Goodyear F1 Supersport mounted on 19" rims.
