  1. In my case, I am using Iron X CarPro with a soft brush. The product is effective but considering the geometry of the wheels, it's impossible to have a perfect result with just the product so 2 minutes after application I brush and rinse and ... perfect result! Rims as good as new.
  2. In addition, if you do not want to play with control units, you have the possibility to unlock/lock EPB via OBDeleven app (Workshop\Brake pads replacement). I am starting to compile hardware to perform the brakes upgrade, I will post details when I do it.
  3. Repair manual sheet is coming from ErWin. You can download all you need after paying subscription. You can choose from:
  4. Yes, you have to create an account and pay a subscription. As far as I am aware, in Erwin you will not find info regarding part numbers. I have no clue about the cost of the parts, sorry.
  5. That's interesting. For @migis in kufatec.com you can purchase the harness and a coding dongle if you do not have VCDS or OBDEleven. Reference for heating mats and rear panel climate control can be found in partslink24.com Cheers.
  6. Negative, you are not going mad. Mine it does that ratcheting sound without the need of being gentle.
  7. Already tested Motul Specific and Liqui Moly Top Tec 6200 ... both of them fully recommended.
  8. Hi @kreeker, as per today, there is no 1 touch app in OBDeleven to turn on TSR. You have the app to activate TSR signs on the head-up display but it's only working if you have already TSR active. Cheers,
  9. Detailed below the current coding I have for Travel Assist: CU13/Long Coding/Capacitive Steering Wheel ENABLED CU13/Long Coding/Travel Assist ACTIVATED CU19/Adaptation/Specified Inst. of Sub-bus Users/Control Module for Steering Wheel Touch Recognition YES CU44/Long Coding/Lane Assistance ACTIVE CU5F/Adaptation/Vehicle Function List BAP/LDW_HCA_0x19_msg_bus DATABUS EXTENDED CUA5/Long Coding/HC Warn Intensity SETTING OVER MENU CUA5/Long Coding/Klr CODED CUA5/Long Coding/Hc Variante 1 CUA5/Long Coding/Point of Intervention EARLY Assumption to have it working: ACC + Capacitive Steering Wheel. The more I check, the more doubts I have about your steering wheel. It's true that you guys have button on your steering wheel, but check this exploited view: That's for a 2021 Kamiq, but I would bet a finger that it's also applicable for the Octavia. Maybe you have multifunction touch on the right side with Travel Assist button but with a standard steering wheel as a base, so even with proper coding, it would work but you will have the same experience as @Mattian.
  10. Did you have the opportunity to check this post? You'll find all the questions there. Cheers
  11. Good news, very good news. I recoded and it's working smooth as silk, no errors whatsoever in a 15 km ride ... on my previous test with just 900 m I had enough to prove that the coding was not working and Travel Assist error was triggered on the cluster as always. Tomorrow I have to do the back and forth to worksite, 80km, that will be my real test ... but I am quite confident. In top of original coding for Travel Assist and combined with the coding for the Adaptative Line Guidance added: - CU44/long coding/Lane Assistance from NOT ACTIVE to ACTIVE. - CU5F/adaptations/vehicle function list BAP/LDW_HCA_0x19_msg_bus from CAN_FAS to DATABUS EXTENDED. Note to @Giannis20 I am afraid that it's not working with CC, you will need to upgrade hardware for ACC as well.
  12. Negative, mine came without button. Curious that yours came with, I guess it was due to manufacturing reasons.
  13. I will give it a try next week, let's see what happens. By the way, I see that you are with ACC on and you do not have the CC option enabled; you could try and check with CC, seems that way works flawlessly.
  14. Well, not quite sure if the Adaptative Line Guidance is Travel Assist. Read a bit on the OBDEleven forum and there is a post from @azehiel with the detailed coding on modules and there are no entries for coding capacitive steering wheel, so for sure it's not Travel Assist. My assumption is that Adaptative Line Guidance is an improved version of the standard Lane Assist. I am not a fan of Lane Assist and it's deactivated for me as default and I did not have active the Adaptative Line Guidance therefore I cannot give my opinion on differences ... but seems that if you do not have capacitive steering wheel is quite annoying. And I would say yes @Mattian if your steering wheel has button for travel assist, on the paper, should be a capacitive one. Do a test, go to CU13/long coding/byte2/capacitive steering wheel and check if it's enabled or not.
  15. So ... the one click app Adaptative Line Guidance is the well known Travel Assist? To be honest, I was not aware of that release from Voltas IT. What I would do @Mattian is launch a ticket to OBDEleven stating your issue, let's see what they answer. You have the proper hardware so if the app was build taking into consideration TPI 2069984/7 it was supposed to work properly,
  16. Great ! very good news 🙂, now we know from where it's really coming from, thanks to share your experience with the rest. My god, they wanted to remove the dashboard just for that intervention ... no words !
  17. Well, I do not know which is your audio setup, but if it's like mine, without canton and car manufactured from November 2020, I do confirm that, as per wiring diagram, those two speakers are not carrying signal from the center unit.
  18. Screenshot is coming from the official maintenance manual that you can find in ErWin (https://erwin.skoda-auto.cz/erwin/showHome.do). With your VIN there you will find all that you need for your car in terms of maintenance and general TPIs. In top of ErWin, you can use as well Partslink24 (https://www.partslink24.com/partslink24/user/login.do) to search for replacement parts. Unfortunately, both are pay per use. And for @Dooge under that perforated panel you have 2 speakers, one for the soundaktor and the other for the SOS assistance.
  19. Give it a try, you lose nothing. If they are not able to solve it now you have the option of the full deactivation. Even if mine was properly fixed, once the possibility of deactivation was one the market I went for it, and I do not regret it since day one
  20. Well, in my case they were able to fix it but considering the comment from @GregB11x I would not bet a finger. Your car is under warranty so your position should be clear, you check with the dealer and they are supposed to fix it without any cost.
  21. Hi Sajan, Your issue is coming from the central speaker (2): From factory it was not properly fixed, so under certain circumstances it moves on its housing and it does that particular noise. It's an easy thing to be fixed, just remove the speaker panel carefully and remove, clean surfaces and install again the central speaker.
  22. Using O2 sensor spacers is not an exact science. Mainly, on the market you have straight spacers and 90° elbow spacers, all with different lengths so you would need to check and try which one would be the one passing the check ... not triggering the engine error light. And yes, you have to lower the subframe, at least the left side, there is not enough clearance, VAQ differential is blocking the clean way out. I am in stage 1 for both ecu and dsg ... with 324 hp and 492 nm. Mods just turbo inlet/outlet and RacingLine R600 intake ... and so far so good. Real pitty the lack of exhaust sound but that's what we have.
  23. Checked it with my tuner when I did the remap and yes, you will get ECU error from the O2 sensors reading pre and post catalytic converter. If you really want to install either you play with O2 sensor spacers or you get just an ECU tune for OPF off exclusively, I would say it's already on the market for the Simos 19.6. I do not know how emissions regulations work in Estonia, how rigorous they are in the TUV check, but here in France you get a fail with full de-cat downpipe ... so If you want to pass, you have to dismount and mount again the downpipe ... and that's not peanuts, because to remove the OPF you are obliged to dismount the lower subframe completely. That's the reason why I put the installation of de-cat downpipe aside.
  24. Well ... I have all I need to do the change, hopefully I will have time enough next week to perform the service. Just one curious thing, when reading live data from control unit 32 Lock Electronics I have this: Control module temperature is coherent with the environment when I did the test ... but take a look to cooling fin temperature and clutch temperature, on the paper both are intended to be quite close to the control module temperature but ... wow, those values are completely out of range. I do not see any fault on the control unit so I guess it's working as expected.
