I have leased up to now 3 cars and find it suits me.i do around 15/20000 miles a year.i do take the car into Europe .so having a new car every 3/4 years gives me piece of mind whilst driving in Europe.

I ordered a estate 4x4 tdi,in may 21.after 8 delivery dates I have yesterday received 2 build dates weeks 50 and 10 mins later it went to week 4.deliver 18 February not confirmed,I might as well wait until the new regs come out.it looks like you are in for a long wait like a lot of us on this site.

When speaking with the lease company am getting my car with.he says all car manufacturers are having exactly the same problem as skoda.i would of cancelled a while back but as a few people on here have said.what is the point of doing that? You will just go to the back of the waiting list.so just have waiting a few months more.ie 36 weeks(9months)with a bit of luck.the other week I was offered a vw golf r,with hind sight I whished I went for it.

I ordered my diesel vrs in may and have had 8 delivery dates up to now.i asked for a update today got one emails saying unconfirmed build date week 50.then 10 minutes later another e mails saying unconfirmed build date is week 04 and delivery 18 February all unconfirmed.a complete farce more so when you read diesel cars are been delivered to Germany very quickly.

God you make me jealous and more angry,I ordered mine 20 may,vrs estate diesel 200 bhp dsg.4x4.after reading all the comments I have e mailed the lease company expressing my anger how people can order cars 2/3 months later and getting told there cars are on the way.i know it is a diesel car but a member said diesel cars in Germany are getting delivered very quickly.yet here no news at all .told 3/4 weeks ago no build date yet,how this can be right I do not know it is lottery and nothing else.i was offered a vw 4x4 golf r 2 weeks ago off another lease company and I turned it down.what a fool I was..

Apart. From the software problem which are improving all of the time,the drive by people on. Here say is great,the styling is very good,comfort very good.tyre noise does this not depend what tyre is on your car.?am waiting for mine but looking forward in getting it.as far as conspiracy things is utter rubbish and where is the proof if it is happening and will these papers,magazines accept that?they test drive the car and come up with there opinion and know there readers would stop buying this mag/paper if this story was true.

Well there is a suprise,skoda actually know what cars are getting shipped over shortly in December,only joking.

I have not got a build date yet so it is not sitting in a field.have read a few people saying they have gotten there diesels cars so that's out of the window.i know the car I ordered was a diesel but if what you say ,in that not many getting ordered you would think I would get it earlier.i was only asking if anyone had ordered the same car as me,to just to see what waiting times from ordering to delivery.we all know there is no set pattern on delivery dates for any cars.some people getting there cars before other people who ordered therecars before they did.

Just wondering has anyone recently had a Octavia estate 4x4 vrs Diesel 200bhp delivered? If so can you please tell me when you ordered I'd please.

The ever changing deliveries date should carry a health warning.ie blood pressure may rise on a upwards trend when delivery dates are missed.

I would be happy just to get a build date to ease my blood pressure.it so aggravating when you have ordered your car months before other people and there car are just about ready for delivery.in any case pleased for them.

Good for you ,hope you get it soon.i have no build date for mine yet.just hoping what people say about that the chip shortage is improving rapidly .others saying deliveries are picking up.is correct.

Just got rid of my lease car a Volvo v60 what a horrible car.you can do a turning circle in a artic easier and the blind spots are a nightmare .reversing is a night mare and running costs are very high.my last service was 460 pounds and tyres after 3 years 26000miles was 3 sets of tyres.the last thing in ice and snow you might as well leave it at home and walk anything over 1/2 of snow and no bloody good at all.one good thing it is great on a straight stretch of motorway and that's it.

40% if you are using the heaters.well that is about 8/9 months a year where I come from.

I would not hold my breath in what you are getting told.it is a lottery out there turning into a complete farce.some dealers are just saying anything to get a sale.Am on my 6th delivery date and still nothing about build date.

Just whish I had my car so I can join in.

Just another point in what they are saying at Durham about ev,hybrid getting built quicker.if you have a look on here there is a guy saying that is where the biggest delay is ie ev,hybrid cars.so take everything with a pinch of salt it is just a publicly con that is coming out of skoda dealers.

Yes I understand but customer service is very very poor.so be fore warned and good luck with you new car.

My son has a superb lease car,he had a problem with and took it to Durham pulman.they would not even look at because he did not buy the car off them,he told them it was a lease car with no effect at all.he says there attitude was a disgrace.he then took it to skoda sunderland and he said they bent over backwards to help.he is now going to take his car for service to sunderland due to there attitude.i also went looking for a new car before his episode and I found there attitude was very poor.they were very unhelpful when asking about things on a new car.could not give a toss.
