Has anyone had the new alligator alloy wheel protectors or diy fitted? Are they any good and are they easy to fit yourself?.

I don't think any of us know what is going on and I don't think skoda has much more idea.the waiting list is a complete joke you see people on this site getting told next year deliverythen getting a phone call saying car is getting delivered shortly.(a few weeks)

I missed out that am taking it to Spain via Portsmouth to bilbao and down to the alicante region.

With my Octavia not getting delivered on time,am going to drive my sons 2020 superb sportsline.so can I pick a few brains?does can you change the headlights from left to right?i noticed the sat nav does not give you close up direction so how do I get it to do this.any other tips would be most welcome.

Interesting because what I read is all cars with certain types of headlight and am sure led lights come under this.they must have headlight washers.dont know when they came compulsory ,

Very interesting read,so I think is not only skoda that are having problems.it is across the vast majority of car makes.lets all hope the micro chip shortage improves a lot of the next month or so.

Just wonder how many chips each model takes to build a car.whaich models take the most etc

Elliott nobody called you a liar,to me no skoda salesman would dare tell anyone that story.so keep,posting don't let me spoil your imput onto this site it is most welcome.there is some very good comments and worth reading.we are all on here to help each other in other words sorry if I offend you.

do you honestly think any skoda salesman would dare say this if it was true ,he would be getting his p45 in the morning.i know a few people who are having the same problem as us all on here.we are not the only ones who are suffering.why do you think the 2 hand business in cars is booming for? People are saying they know people who are getting more for there carsthen they paid for them 2 years ago.it is the whole car world not only skoda that are having problems.mind you skoda pr is a shambles and not fit for purpose.

Love to know where these stories come from.the gossip mongers,start with a little chat and that get added on and it all builds up.i like to read about proper fact and not rumours that are way out.if you read about motor manufacturing industry .everybody is in the same boat.nobody can tell me that they are giving priority to vw and Audi cars over skoda and why would they do that for?

I think with al, these stories going around it is no wonder people like us are p%^^},,< right off.mind a few good one in people getting delivery sooner then they were told only a week or so ago.the one about delays for cars with auto boots is stretching it a bit do you not think.?expecting a update tomorrow afternoon in which I get every Friday mind you it will be the same as last week.car due 5 November and with it getting closer it just maybe be right.it does not make any difference because we go on holiday 10 October until 5 December.i have borrowed my sons skoda superb and he has borrowed my wife's little Mini Cooper s .which I hate to driving it.suspension rock hard and a jolt every blood manholes or uneven ground.the only good thing you put you foot down and it flies.

What type did you order ie electric,hybrid,petrol,diesel,estate.mine has been put back 3 times,last info off skoda uk is 5 November.when I first ordered it I was tol 26 September.so I sold my Volvo and thought I would use the wife's Mini Cooper then the bombshell 5 November.my problem is we sail from Portsmouth on the 11 October on holiday driving in Spain like we always done.my son as come to our rescue and is going to loan us his car for our holidays.i was looking forward to driving it down the Spanish motorways.with your good new i will keep my fingers crossed but I won't hold my breath.

Interesting reading lsly saying giving priority to hybrid cars.where can I ask that came from?what I read at the moment it is pot luck depending on numerous things.

I ordered my car 20 may,told deliver by 26 September which was pushed back to 4 October.then to 5 November this last date was off skoda uk.spoke to them today and it is still a firm date 5 November.i will not hold my breath and just hope it is right.

The worst sat nav I had was on a Kia car,mind you the last car I have just got rid of was not far behind the Kia car.volvo v60.

I read all these problems what people are saying,the main one am bothered about is the car braking to a full stop for no reason.a major safety problem ,wonder why no follow up And all of the motor mags and motoring media taking no notice.is it not time for people to contact there MPs over this very seriously safely defect in these cars?or is everyone waiting until people are killed?

I always thought post codes in the uk were spot on?

To me it looks like most car makers are facing the same problems.so if you cancel 3/4 months down the line.then reorder a different car you are back to stage 1.so you are waiting longer for a new car.am just going to wait until I get the car I want and not take a backwards step.

I agree it must come under warranty after only 10000 miles.they should last many thousands of miles .never had any problems with the disks on other cars I have had in the past.

Just wondering about waiting lists in different countries.are they all the same? Or are different countries getting quicker delivery times.

Yes a very good point,I keep looking to see a new skoda on the road but no sign of one.the only one I have seen is a police car all white with the blues going.rare has hens teeth comes to mind.
