i was told 4/6 weeks ago my car was built and there was going to be a slight delay due to waiting for parts.since then every friday i get a update and it gets pushed back by one week.

what side of the bed did you get out of this morning.this site is for people to express there views on numerous things and most of the things effects us all.we may not agree with what people views are. that is why this site is so good to air there views .

so dealer contacted you about expected delivery dates getting pushed that amount of time.i am thinkkng this must be the first time a dealer has said this before.there has been many comments about dealers having no idea at all when peoples cars are coming .so has anything changed?

where is all this news coming from?is it all fake news there was no mention of this a day or two ago but now.the dates are coming out are so unreal ie 19 month waiting list.i ordered my car may 21 and know it is built before the fire.also told only a slight delay and this might be the reason i only get a one week push backs for the past 3 weeks[ihope]

if you have a new car ,why would you want anyone to try and upgrade anything?or rectify faults when it is under warranty .it could make your warranty null and void and how much money could you end up paying?

i got my latest delivery date this afternoon,as i said before as in other weeks gone by.delivery pushed back one week so delivery is due 18 april and i am not holding my breath.that will make it 47 weeks since ordering.good luck to the rest of you.

yes i know how you feel my order was the same as you 2.0tdi vrs estate in black may 21.delivery date given was 24 september,had numerous delivery dates.about 6/7 weeks ago told the car was built and there was going to be a slight delay and now keep getting pushed back by one week.i get a update every friday afternoon and keep crossing my fingers in hope, but knowing full well it is going to be another push back.if i do get on last delivery 08/04/22 it will be 46 weeks.good luck hope both of us and the others who have waited get there cars soon.

i have been looking out for 22 plates on the road and there is not many.about.then low and behold 2 skodas in 1 minute passed me,under my breath i said lucky b76543d

i am going to have to sit and wait until it comes,last update 08/04/22 if i cancelled i would have to go on another waiting list.46 weeks at the last update.

do not believe a word off skoda,in the days gone by you ordered your car and when it was built you got it.now in skodas world it does not apply they do not give a dam about dates.we all read people putting orders for cars and awaiting a year or more for cars.yet some people order .. a car and get them in a matter of months.can i ask anyone on here is this fair?we hear a shortage of micro chips then it has gone to door panels due to the fire.now it has gone to the war with russia and unkraine.are they not looking to blame every but themselves in the complete shambles of a company.where or should i say is the public relations in telling people what in hells name going on>in my case if i get my car on 08/04/22 it will make it 46 weeks ,original date was 24 september 2021.i dont mind waiting as long it applies to everyone.yet in skodas world it does nor apply.it looks like they are immune to any flak or just ignores everyone concerns.goodnight

no my car is complete apart from micro chips and that is why i am ranting on about it.i just cannot understand skodas stance on letting cars standing in a field and are still building cars.if there is spares for cars getting made why are cars built awaiting parts for?

in my world you put your order in and when they come available you get it.yet in the world skoda lives in they dont take this into account and why is that.?what i mean is why is that cars that are built and awaiting parts ie micro chips in my case dont get priority over cars that are not built?surly they should put the parts into cars already built before building more cars.

i was not on this site when i ordered the car,wish i had been but that is hind sight.i will just have to wait and see when i get i get it april fools day/?

yes you may be right,it was only a month before i handed my lease car in and me thinking it was only 4 weeks before delivery of my new car and the reason was it was very close to have 4 new tyres fitted and a service due so at a cost of around 1100 pounds.i thought i was doing the right thing at the time and then .all the bad news started to come out about deliveries and software problems and with me having no crystal ball i will have to grin and bare with it.i leased a car for short term of 3 months through the lease company and that comes to the end on the 6 april .so fingers crossed i do get it 1/04/22,APRIL FOOLS DAY and thats me

just like a lot of us,they are full of promises when ordering your car.then nothing apart from updates and when you think your car is coming,knock back after knock back.it has cost me a small fortune i sent my lease car back early thinking i was saving money.should of known how the car industry works a bunch of spives comes to mind.

just dealers living up to there history of been nothing else than spivs.

like a lot of other people no maximum delivery date,just a approx date of delivery date.in other words a get out of jail card.to far down the line to do anything now and i just whishi have never heard of skoda cars.
