  1. Any one can get me a part number for the rear tail gate boot trim? Please
  2. Called My Skoda you need to pray everytime you use it as its in the hands of the gods if it works or not. free for 1 yr then they charge you £36 for a yr.
  3. Always starts up in battery mode and no way of changing this Lane assist always on need to turn it off everytime you drive the car skoda app is terrible and never works infotainment system slow
  4. I have mine, ordered 22nd June 21 received 21st Jan 2022, its a nice car, annoying features it has, quite quick, great for tax for company users hence why I chose the Oct IV
  5. I feel that it slows you down too much when coming behind a car, the distance is set to the least as well, maybe i am stubborn but i dont need something telling me how to drive. Normal cruise is much better. Only time i like it is in road works, set to 55 and let car infront determine the speed, however the distance is too far again and when another car goes in the gap it puts the brakes on to slow you down. its like its too safe, but only safe for you the driver of the car, i would hate to be the car behind with brake lights always going on etc.
  6. Can't agree with you more, I have the IV as well and its like you have to set it up every time, Press mode, change to Hybrid and untick the tick box, then turn lane assist off, annoying as hell, dont get me started on Adaptive Cruise either as that's ****e. Mines a company car so I aint really bothered about MPG, so I just use it in engine mode - cheapest estate for tax with out going EV , I couldn't do my job with an EV as there would be too much time wasted charging.
  7. How do you vent it? I fill it to the brim when on long journeys, only when I am departing
  8. The OP is most welcome to make what ever decision he needs to do, I find it weird going from a Vag car to a Toyota, my guess is budget is the main reason, I looked at Toyotas when I was choosing my Company car, I took the Corolla Estate Hybrid for a 15 min test drive, that's all it took to turn it around and say no, it was slow, very very slow (compared to the Octy IV Hybrid, interior was basic and well Japanese. However good luck the OP as I get his pain with faults with the Skoda and cant blame him for moving on, I would of went BWM personally or Tesla (we have model Y and love it)
  9. The app is the worst ever, free for one year... that annoys me as it works 50/50 % of the time and they want you to pay £36 for it, the Tesla app is free and far superior, I aint tight as we have a Model Y and a Skoda Octy iv hybrid and would happily pay £36 for the app if it was as good as the Tesla app. I paid for another year and then after 3 weeks asked for a refund and received it.
  10. Cheers Andy, Do you know of any one in the North East or Edinburgh that I could borrow and pay for use of ODB 11?
  11. Yeah that's what I would do tbh, plus the None Hybrid VRS sits lower and looks really nice, My IV is nice, great to drive, very good at overtaking, needs lowering if it were my car but its a company car. MPG I aint really bothered about hence I cant answer the question 100% on what MPG does it do in the real world
  12. Any one know if you can code out the Adaptive Cruise control? And just add the normal cruise? Lane assist to be turned off and as i have a hybrid to always start up in hybrid mode and not electric? what do i need to do this or can anyone help In the Durham Newcastle area?
  13. I have the iv hybrid not the vrs, as a company car, now i dont use it how maybe you should, i.e keep the battery topped up and use hybrid mode all the time. When i do trips to edinburgh i will get 60 mpg when using the hybrid system and 45 when not. I dont hang around, so not an economy driver. Personally if it was down to me i would just get the full petrol version as its lighter and should offer better mpg - i think. For me it was all about tax, vrs was lot higher on the bik etc
  14. Still rubbish tho, the long term one resets all the time, I would of wanted the data collected from the start 0000 miles ... What is also annoying is if you have the Hybrid you cant see how many battery miles you have done, just the total where as the Audi system allows you to see battery, engine and combined
