  1. It fixed ACC for sure. Infotainment seems all good as well. Really happy with the outcome
  2. So when I left car for service they didn't say they got any update. I only said that I get ACC problems very often. It was only when I picked it up they told me there was an update for it. Also they needed both keys to reprogram some stuff. But all the settings in the infotainment were still the same.
  3. I didn't get too much problems with it tbh. Never had problem with SOS. 2 or 3 times radio didn't work for the first 5 minutes. SYNC for the aircon was always fine.
  4. My VRS diesel 71 plate auto was serviced Wednesday and they got update for ACC. I can confirm that I have done few hundreds miles so far and it looks like the problem has been solved. Also now I can easily change lights straight away for European side if go on the continent. During the night you can see how pattern changes. There was some another update to the infotainment system as well and I got a felling it works faster now. So I do hope I can now relax on motorway journeys.
  5. Got Thule. They look nice as well.
  6. I think the question was about if that feature could be added at all not when it would be used. Tou got such a feature in Tesla and no one is asking when someone would play games. Altough I believe you can't do it while driving
  7. Just a quick update. Got gearbox replaced. It took them over a month. Got replacement car through Mobex. Not the best experience tbh. But man. How amazing car it is. VRS diesel auto. It's just pleasure to drive...until next fault 🤣
  8. Thanks, that's helpful. It looks like I got Internet connection but my skoda app has logged out and now can't log in.
  9. So just to clarify if you do take fuses out, does it reset all settings? Do you have to setup everything from scratch again? I tried to run Internet radio but it never worked for me. How do you know if your car is online or not?
  10. Have you heard about my 4 weeks old vrs and its gearbox needing replacement? 🙄🙄
  11. I think physical set button is no longer for tyre pressure only. Its meant to be there to set few more features as traction control or start/stop on and off
  12. Hi, I have used 15cm cable from the mirror. That's why its there
  13. This is exactly situation I'm in. I would rather avoid rejecting the car as I love the car, but I have been given Fabia basic as courtesy car for the time until car is fixed which is not an option I can accept so raised complaint to Skoda UK and they said they should be able to help and provide same class and size car (not necessary Skoda) through Mobex scheme but will come back to me this week. So I gave them a chance to get me similar replacement sorted until Friday. Thanks for help anyway!
  14. It's on pcp. I bought it from dealer 200 miles away as they only had it in stock. Its been at my local Skoda dealership where they said replacement is needed. Problem is that they said because there are supply and shipping issues it could take months to get new gearbox. Is it acceptable that I could wait months for such a repair?
  15. Anyone had this problem? I have noticed a lot of oil coming out of gearbox just after 3 weeks of owning brand new octavia vrs diesel automatic. Took it to service and they say gearbox needs to be replaced. Now they say it could take anything between 2 weeks and 8 months!!! And they offer me fabia for time being which I don't like at all as I'm paying for much more expensive car. I raised complaint to Skoda UK and hopefully gonna get some similiar class car through Mobex scheme. If not just wondered if I can reject car all together through my finance if they won't supply me with the car I'm paying for possibly few months.
