Does anyone know where I can find the code for the nut? I haven’t lost the nut but want to be prepared if I (or Kwikfit) do. I’ve looked for a sticker somewhere and in the manual but can’t find anything.

Got my SEL Exec 1.5 DSG end of June, 13 weeks after ordering. All ok, ordered options all present, no wind up windows! Only slight surprise was the front indicators are not dynamic, ie there is an amber indicator bulb, but rears are as described in the brochure.

I wouldn’t be that pessimistic re delivery dates. I picked mine up (same trim as yours Mikeworcs) on 28 June, 13 weeks after ordering. The dealer quoted me 14 weeks which I confess I didn’t believe. I’m guessing that the more popular trims, in particular the 1.0 litre, are taking longer.

But as I said in my previous post the recommended pressures as per a number of tyre websites are not 2.4 to 2.5 bar unless you’re always running fully loaded.

Have you thought about tyre pressure? The info on tyre pressures inside the fuel filler flap says that the tyres on my Kamiq should be 2.5 bar which equates to 36psi (unladen) and which you say you are running at. However, I’ve looked at a number of tyre websites and for my specific vehicle every single one says 30psi which is a significant difference.

Ordered my 1.5 DSG SEL Executive 23 March, dealer informed me yesterday that the car is in Emden waiting for a ship. Should be ready for me to collect in 3 to 4 weeks. The order document appears to show that all the extras I ordered (space saver spare, adaptive cruise, heated steering wheel) have been fitted. Hopefully there’s been no covert ‘semiconductor optimisation’.

I’ve not got my Kamiq yet but I presume it does the same as in my Golf. It controls how much, if any, air is ducted to the glovebox from the aircon. Handy for keeping a bottle/can cold.
