Problems already
The dealer put in £25 of petrol when I got it as the fuel light was on, so probably not much more than 15ltrs in Tank. I've done about 30 miles max before I got fuel today and I only put in £30, jsut under 16ltr. But it was as you say, sounds like a vacuum in the tank. I thought a breathing tube had perhaps got blocked. I'll ask next week when its in.

Problems already
Picked up the car on Monday, and can't get driver memory seat to memorise anything. Movement of seat is fine just wont accept memory. Tried out the fixes suggested on forum, seat right forward, fully back, height up and down and lumbar in and out. Still won't work. Took it back to dealer and fitter looked at it and confirmed it wasn't working. Booked in under warranty next week. On my way home from dealer I stopped to put some fuel in, and when I took the filler cap off, there was a whoosh of air, as if there was a vacuum in the tank. Is this normal, never heard it on any other car. Apart from that, the car is fine and my wife even said it was nice, which for her is praise indeed.

Maps needing updated???
This is the display on my satnaav settings. Does it mean the maps are from 2017 only? And is the [update (SF/USB)] button telling me to update or is it the button to actually update. I only picked up the car this morning, so still ltrying to familiarise myself. Can't get the memory seats to work either but thats another thread.

New SIII owner with a couple of questions.
Same here. Just got the car today and whatever key I use it say to change key battery. I wouldn't have thought they'd all die at same time.

What Specs?
It;s a 2018 second hand, I would have thought it would already been registered. I collect it on Monday so will check then and pick their brains.

What Specs?
Just been on and it won't accept my VIN TMBBD7NP9H7561862. It looks like there should be another character, there are seventeen in my VIN but the site appears to be looking for 18. I used that VIN to set up an account on ERwin, so it must be ok.

With fuel prices being so high…….
I've been wondering the same. I am partexing with approx 35 ltrs diesel in the tank. The car I am buying is petrol and when I took it for a test drive the low fuel light/warning activated. I'll be asking for some petrol when I pick it up on Monday

What Specs?
Well that's a pleasant surprise. I don't know much about Skoda, just assumed the advert wouild be correct. I'v mainly had Fords but a couple of years ago, I went for a Jaguar XF. Had no real problems with it but its now on 81k , due a major service and belt change in October. Also got frightened by all the horror stories I read about on the Jag forums. Thanks all.

What Specs?
Thanks for that. Where would I find this ErWin. Since I posted I have spoken to the dealer and he has a copy of specs, which he says he will give me when I pick up the car. He had a quick look but it did not state any name, just said infotainment system High

What Specs?
How do I find out the specs of my car. I'm picking it up on Monday. When I first saw the advert it stated it had Amundsen system, but when I enter VRN in Skoda,eu it comes up with Columbus. With Fords you used to be able to access Ford ETIS and get a print out of the specs on leaving factory. Anything like that for Skoda?
