  1. HI, just wondering how it it going? What did dealer say? Have they done a wheel alignment? Did you get new tyres? I am asking as I bought (Henry'sGlasgow) a Karoq few weeks ago with 5600miles on 18" wheels, also Bridgestone Turanza and they have similar wear to yours. On my Lexus GS I have done more than 20k miles and the tyres still have about 5mm of tread, they are all season tyres. Thanks
  2. That is a great advice, about a 1.5 year ago we bought my wife BMW and garage did an oil service, when I arrived home I found a paddle occurring under the car, when I opened the bonnet I was shocked - thechician forgot to put a cap on and eft it on the shelf next to wiper mechanism! I had to take the car back to garage next day (minimum of oil in the engine was left) to clean all the oil under the bonnet but it did not help as as soon as the car was warmed up - oil started evaporating from all hot surfaces, at the end it had to be taken to Main dealer and took about a week to clean, even new bonnet insulation was fitted. So, the moral is - check all the caps after every visit to garage!
  3. Hi Tom, congratulations with the new car! I got my Karoq a few weeks ago and it seems my wife likes it more than I do, I do like it too btw! Is it a 7-seater Kodiaq? What engine? Regards Vlad
  4. Hi Neil, I am new too on this forum. Congratulations on your new car. Have a good weekend and good luck with EGR repair, I hope it will the last issue for you with the Superb!
  5. Hi everyone, I bought new to me Karoq couple of weeks ago, it is an Edition model, 69 plates in Velvet Red with under 6k miles. I live in Scotland and the car was bought in Glasgow and maybe a previous owner is on this forum. I am coming from a Lexus GS and was considering a Skoda for a while now, mostly was looking at Superb but at the end decided to check out Karoq and apart from space at the back (Superb has much more space) the car is great. I did go over Manual and a few videos on Youtube showing different ways to set up the car - it was a while since I had a VAG product. My previous history with the cars is mostly BMW, 520 E34, 320d E46, 525 E39 and a last one was 525d in E60 guise, not sure many people get these codes. Also had a VW Passat, Honda Civic and Renault Laguna, ages ago. Last 4 years I was driving a GS450h, the car is great but I needed change and in a current market not many brands or cars I like I can afford. I would gladly stay with Lexus but they do not have anything I really like at the moment plus a I had a Skoda itch for a while - couple of my friends have Skodas and they swear by them. The only option I really miss and I really wanted on my Skoda is ACC but it did not came with it, which surprises me as it is not very expensive option but there are not many cars that come with it! Anyway, sorry for a long Intro, I am off to read all the post on the forum, looking forward to it! Have a good weekend everyone! Vladimir
