  1. Welcome. You made a good choice 👍 That's a fine looking car.
  2. I can't believe this... Driving home thinking about watching the video later... The light came on. It's possessed 🙁
  3. Thank you for this. When I get in I'll give it a watch 👍
  4. I'm pretty sure that a belt from the same era Fabia would be fine. Not sure if I'm allowed to post eBay links but here is a Roomster one that's for sale. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/266560867553?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=0Uuw-kTuSyO&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=pjqfytt5R2q&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  5. That is a strong list 💪 Welcome to the forum. 🥳 I recognise your name from the seatcupra.net forums! I was on there trying to fix my Ibiza SC. The Ibiza is currently resting its metal bones due to Cat N ice road bumper action 🤕
  6. Off the top of my head you go into the module for for the airbags / safety system. Select the specific airbag you want to turn off. Then change the value on the left hand corner of the window to disable it. Then confirm the change. I did this and then I had a airbag missing error on my dash. I then turned it back on, then cleared all codes. Been fine since. ✌️ Saved me removing the panel to check the connector. If I get chance tomorrow I'll screen grab the menu if you want.
  7. Welcome back. 😀 Out with the blue and in with the green.
  8. I'm watching that video now..... That's a coincidence 🫠 When my Roomster expires my next is a Yeti. 👍 Great cars which have quite a following. On a recent 7 mile drive to a rural Sainsbury's I counted 31 of them during my journey.
  9. @Thud Thank you for that. It will be a help for those "beeping" sensors. If it ever stops raining I'll be under the bumper. 😅
  10. @Breezy_Pete Thank you for your service 🫡 I disabled my airbag with VCDS. Then I had a no airbag fault on the dash. Turned it back on and reset any fault codes. Not had the airbag fault come back yet. Weird. I did think perhaps the air con was leaking and throwing the climate error. And I will just replace the parking sensors and hope for the best. For an '07 car I'm happy with those faults.
  11. Just got a bag of parking sensors from a crash damaged VW Polo. They are supposed to be the same. We will see....
  12. I now want some for my Roomster. But my initial searches are not that fruitful. 😪
  13. I know I'm late to this thread but those seats look great 👍
  14. I don't have an answer for you but my Roomster would like to know too 😀 Can anyone chime in?
  15. You are welcome here... We won't judge 😀 I have a VW Caddy MK2 pickup... Don't tell anyone but it's really a Skoda 🤫
  16. You could try calling this place.... They have a good reputation. J.P. Automatic Transmission LTD 44 0 1934 852772 Units 4 A & 4 B, Pear Tree Industrial Estate, Bath Rd., Upper Langford, GB, BS40 5DJ
  17. There are a few places online with them... https://www.sussexautos.com/products/01j-01t-0aw-new-oem-n88-n215-n216-solenoid Also a few new and used on eBay. Have sent you a PM. 👍
  18. Thanks, it's an old barn that we converted. The walls are stupidly thick. So with the insulation the downstairs is always pretty warm.
  19. The tired bit of plastic was a strap like on a bag for life. Just a bit thicker. No four finger grab on my tailgate hence the rally strap.
  20. I know this was nine years ago but..... Can you tell me the name / year of those TT alloys? They look good 👍
  21. My Roomster arrived with a tired old bit of plastic that had been put on to make shutting the boot easier... I fitted a rally door pull instead. Looks better and is bound to add 5 BHP. 😀
  22. Might pop the panel off on the passenger side airbag plastics and clean the plugs and contacts 🤔 Every time I clear the code it comes back the next day. Annoying. Very annoying.
  23. Hello, After having my Roomster for a couple of weeks I now know of a few "features" that I need to fix. 1) The airbag light keeps coming on. 2) The rear parking sensors are evil. I bravely fired up my trusty old VCDS laptop hoping there would not be too many issues and got this. Chassis Type: 5J (5J - Skoda Roomster (2006 > 2010)) Scan: 01 02 03 08 09 15 16 17 19 25 37 44 46 55 56 76 77 VIN: ******************* Mileage: 205290km-127561miles ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Address 08: Auto HVAC Labels: 6Q0-907-044.lbl Part No: 5J0 907 044 A Component: CLIMAtronic SK25 0608 Shop #: WSC 00000 000 00000 VCID: 285F4DA798F312D3A3-515A 1 Fault Found: 01271 - Positioning Motor for Temperature Flap (V68) 000 - - - Intermittent ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Address 15: Airbags Labels: 6Q0-909-605-VW5.lbl Part No: 1C0 909 605 F Component: Q6 AIRBAG VW61 Q1Q2 0004 Coding: 20790 Shop #: WSC 28033 VCID: 275D4E9BC5ED1DABAA-515A 1 Fault Found: 01589 - Igniter for Head-Airbag; Passenger Side (N252) 32-10 - Resistance Too High - Intermittent ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Address 76: Park Assist Labels: 5J0-919-283.lbl Part No: 5J0 919 283 Component: Einparkhilfe V003 Revision: 00012000 Serial number: 06110079420323 Coding: 0000120 Shop #: WSC 73430 790 00000 VCID: 6FED66BB7D9D05EB22-513C 3 Faults Found: 01546 - Sensor for Parking Aid; Rear Mid-Left (G204) 007 - Short to Ground - Intermittent 01547 - Sensor for Parking Aid; Rear Mid-Right (G205) 010 - Open or Short to Plus - Intermittent 01548 - Sensor for Parking Aid; Rear Right (G206) 010 - Open or Short to Plus - Intermittent ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hoping @Breezy_Pete is passing with some advice 😀 One thing I do know I'm quite taken by my grandpa-spec Roomster! Any advice welcomed . R.
  24. Took the safe option and bought another Dance Unit from eBay that has a working screen. No swinging for me.
