  1. Roof bars still available - £75
  2. Another recommendation for the Scala from me, I went from a Karoq to a Scala and have zero regrets. My grown up kids both prefer being a back seat passenger in the Scala over the Karoq, both say it’s roomier and more comfortable. I looked at the Kamiq before buying the Scala but the smaller boot (compared to the Scala), usability of the boot space and overall looks led me to the Scala.
  3. They say there’s more legroom and the seating position is better, interestingly (or not as the case may be) my elderly in-laws also commented on the comfort of being a back seat passenger in comparison to the Karoq.
  4. I went the other way, Karoq to Scala, both of my kids (one late teens & one early 20’s) both prefer being rear seat passengers in the Scala over the Karoq.
  5. If you like the interior but would like more boot space it might be worth looking at the Scala, basically the same inside and the actual difference in ride height is very minimal.
  6. Yes! Noticed it as soon as I drove off the forecourt (new car) and booked it straight back in to be ‘fixed’ Cue three more visits to the dealer and the alignment checked and adjusted three times and steering wheel removed/refitted and it’s still no different. The dealer reckons it fine and the brand new Scala I had as a courtesy car had exactly the same issue. All tyre pressures constantly checked and all spot on, no uneven wear so no logical reason I can find for it. I’ve sort of given up on it now as I CBA going back and forth to the dealers and Škoda. It’s all very disappointing to be honest but as there’s no uneven wear on the tyres I just live with it now against my better judgment.
  7. An unused Škoda Karoq training literature/diary from 207/18 - Bright orange hardback, lots of information regarding the incoming Karoq and lots of blank pages for notes. It’ll probably coast around £3 to post so £10 posted UK or happy to knock the postage off if you’re local, thanks.
  8. Monte Carlo owner here as well. I popped into my local dealer to ask this very question last week and low and behold there was a Scala in MC trim in the showroom with roof bars and bike rack fitted. I asked the parts fella and he said the MC will take the standard basic roof bars, part number: 657071126 I haven’t bought any yet but that’s the information I was given, there’s also a link here to check compatibility: Wings SKODASKODA Basic roof rack SCALAThanks to its proven safety, quality and user-friendliness, the basic roof rack is the ideal solution for transporting bulky items (such as sports equipment). Bike rack is lockable, secured in the...
  9. Mats now sold but still have the roof bars, aero inserts and isofix covers a available.
  10. Reduced to £75 plus postage at cost or delivery/collection locally.
  11. - Now sold, thanks - Removed from my then new Karoq SportLine after returning home from collecting it from the dealers. These fit the 19” ‘Sagittarius’ alloys. Like new condition with no damage. £40 plus any postage at cost or happy to meet/deliver locally.
  12. Depending on what spec Octavia and wheel/tyre combination you’re coming from just make sure you’re happy with the ride quality on the 19” rims and 40 profile tyres. Even though I recently sold my 23MY SportLine with 14k miles, they’re decent cars and in my opinion a much nicer drive with the DSG over the manual.
  13. Still around apparently: All Electric Garages – New and U...
  14. ‘All Electric’ is/was the name of a dealership group 👍
  15. Bit of a thread resurrection as I’m just about to attempt fitting the variable boot floor myself. So if anyone has any more hints or in particular photos of fitting the brackets id be more than grateful to see them. @Dave_75 do you still have the photos you mention in the first post? I’ve managed to source all of the parts so far except for the actual floor section itself, I’ve found a couple of suppliers but trying the find the keenest price as possible.
  16. I found the trick with the virtual pedal was to immediately step backwards as soon as you’d waved your foot underneath, I was told it was a safety feature to prevent being smacked in the face by the boot lid 😆
  17. Modders replied to davmal735's topic in Skoda Karoq
I’ve got a bottle of the ‘genuine’ stuff for sale in the classifieds at the moment, is it any better than off the shelf stuff, I’ve no idea.
  18. Full set of five Genuine Škoda Karoq rubber mats. Recently removed from my Karoq after approximately 12000 miles from new, in great condition (I haven’t had chance to clean them properly yet so they’re exactly as they were when removed) no signs of wear on the drivers mat. Great fitted mats, I bought the same type again for my Scala. £40 plus any postage at cost- happy the meet/deliver locally. Got a few more bits to list in the coming weeks; genuine Karoq roof bars, aero inserts, ISOFIX covers etc.
  19. Genuine Škoda Fabia IV Roof Bars, new & unused just a few light marks from constantly being shifted around the garage. Completely with instructions, rubber inserts and 2 keys. £90 - Would prefer collection/delivery but could post at cost.
  20. All new and unused, happy to meet/deliver locally or can post at cost with Royal Mail. Tyre sealant complete with spare valve and valve tool, in date & sealed: £10 + postage at cost. Locking Wheel Nut - Q - £8 + postage at cost. Towing Eye - £6 + postage at cost.
  21. Snapped this on my phone on the way back into the house after cleaning it so not great quality and also a weird composition but thought it looked quite cool when converted to black and white.
  22. Speaking from personal experience, from the point of the car arriving in the UK (Sheerness in my case) to picking it up took approximately 3 weeks, this has been the case for me on two occasions although there are a lot of factors at play. Your dealer should be able to give you more accurate information regarding the car’s whereabouts and timescales to prep it through their workshop.
