23MY SportsLine owner here and can confirm that ‘as standard’ you’ll get the smaller of the two virtual cockpit options, you’ll only get the larger 10.25” version if you go for the Amundsen+ pack. To be honest having now experienced both versions I like my version (slightly blurry photo attached), I found that once you get over the novelty of changing the layout of the VC you tend to stick with one version. Having tried putting maps in the VC I found it far too busy and cramped to be of any real use. All I need is speedo, temp and fuel level, much more than that is a distraction. The layout shown below is what I tend to stick with speedo/rev counter in the centre, how often do we really need to look at the rev counter? Obviously Škoda like changing spec without telling anyone so ymmv 😆

I like the SportLine version the most from what I’ve seen of it so far, not keen on that contrasting panel on the D pillar of the other models, looks a bit too Peugeot 3008. I’m expecting it to be north of £40k though which will be a dealbreaker for a lot of folk given the crazy tax it’ll attract.

Only on the main body panels, never directly at the mirrors. I can’t remember the last time I used a sponge on a car, I went microfibre ’noodle’ pads a long time ago, value the paintwork too much to go back to sponges.

I don’t mind the spiders 😁 It is parked slightly ‘nose up’ on the drive but obviously not nose up enough, anyway it’s raining now so doesn’t really matter 😆

I’m not kidding, how much water do these things hold after you’ve washed it?!!?!? 🤣 They’ve been the bane of my life every time I’ve washed it. You dry it and for the next several hours the wing mirrors continue their never ending dribble down the door panel. Annoyed of Shropshire 😂 *Tongue firmly in cheek*

+1 - This 👆 Or a little smear of Vaseline on the threads as it can be a bit ‘cleaner’. I also remove mine towards the end of October and put the plastic ones back on until after the frosts/gritting has stopped again.

No not at all, has your car been valeted/cleaned by someone other than yourself recently, I’m thinking possible overspray from the interior trim being cleaned maybe? Or could they have been cleaned and sprayed to make them look black/new again with a silicone based spray? Bad idea…🙈

If you’re in the UK then most likely not as it’s not a requirement here unlike most of Europe/ROW. Just to let you know I’d avoid buying the official Škoda FAK as it’s pretty much rubbish, not exactly what you’d call comprehensive 🤭

From what I remember LED headlights are standard on the SEL but the full matrix LED headlights are part of an optional ‘light pack’ This was one of the deciding factors for going for the SportLine over the SEL I originally went in for when I ordered my Karoq late last year. From memory the light pack was around an extra £2000 as an option which is a lot given the extras you get as standard on the SportLine trim over the SEL.

I’m not at home currently but looking online it gives a weight of 5.27Kg for the set which according to the Royal Mail website would cost around £9.19 1st Class or £8.19 2nd Class to post if that’s of any use. @robt100

@survey Yes, both the inserts and Sagittarius now dropped on the SportLine, they’ve gone back to 19” Vega’s, not sure what the SEL is supplied with these days.

@survey This was just after it had been washed last week…

Graphite grey here, looks great when freshly washed but that said doesn’t show the grime too quickly, currently sporting a nice layer of dust though thanks to the dry weather.
