2018 Karoq 4x4 2.0 TDI SE L - extended warranty and tyres/wheels?
Owww a spare without a subwoofer… 😇 Mine runs on 18”s, firm but comfy. The 16”s are in the shed, being almost brandnew, and staying like that. On 16”s it feels wobbly in corners, much more prone to understeer.

Time for a change? How does it compare to a Octavia
Had octavia tdi 2006 driven that for 9 years, traded it for a yeti, which was fine, but not a roomy as the octavia (duh), I found the yeti very noisy. Traded the yeti for an 2019 Karoq; very pleased. More space, more comfort, and, very quiet. Obviously going from diesel to petrol makes a difference, but my octavia tdi was quiet as well. Over all after 9 months of ownership and 35.000 km I think it is a great car. On 18” and with no problems whatsoever.

How much brake fluid i need to bleed braking system?
A ltr should do the job. ASkoda is no different as any other car, so the bleeding sequence is as usual. You might want to use a reader to bleed the abs unit, although it can also be done by a good abs break on soft soil. Abs comes in.

1.6 Tdi oil pooling in injector wells
Injector #1 is nowhere near 3&4. Understand that you’re stumped… I would be too. Sorry that I can’t help you any further.

1.6 Tdi oil pooling in injector wells
That is serious leakin’! Mine did only a bit. If you have a leak this serious I wonder if the valve cover isn’t cracked?!

1.6 Tdi oil pooling in injector wells
Mine (yeti)had the same. Replaced the injectorseals of #3 & 4, did not cure the leak. I just cleaned it once in a while. No worries. Btw, show me a 2008 Karoq😇 Did they use this problem engine in the karoq? They should have known better.

Canton Upgrade
Mine has the Canton system. Came with the car ( I’m second owner-) happy with the system, can’t judge the normal sound system.

Karoq 2025 Dashcams
Yeah sucker you do! Found out today, after a good 7 months, that I do have DAB. Reception is excellent.

Karoq 2025 Dashcams
Should I have DAB? Really dunno, just use the radio as is, and it functions really well. ( mine’s a 2019)

Karoq 2025 Dashcams
Fitted a nextbase with rearview cam attached to the front view cam. I used the green route, but I removed the A-pillar trim ( very hard to remove, needs some persuading, not for the faintharted)) feeding of the cable behind the dash was not that easy (LHD). Used piggyback on rearwiper. Functions flawlessly.

Does the Karoq work as a 1L Petrol?
Good engine, but, as it starts to get hilly, like in Belgium with long steep climbs, it lacks power, even when kept in right gear. But as I live in the Netherlands, and just drive through Belgium 2 times a year heading to France: excellent car/engine combi. It does what it says on the package. Don’t expect more.

2.0 tdi burning oil 0W-20
10k-km… barely run in. Give the engine a good chance to prove itself, however, contact your dealer ( you did). Preferably in writing ( proof), so they never can deny that you did complain about it. My (ex-) diesels always used a bit of oil, but there was no need to top between the 15kkm service intervals, both of these ran on 0W30 ( a 2.0 tdi pd and a 1.6 tdi cr) Currently running a 1.0 tsi and this also uses a bit of oil (0W20), but les than a liter in 20 kkm.

Replacing karoq rear brakes
You need an obd appliance to put the rear brakes in service mode as you have an epb ( electronic parking brake ) as mentioned above. The front calipers are full traditional straightforward calipers of the push back type.
