So you mean this knocking comes indead from a split hose, the one above? I had this noise starting some time, in my brand new Karoq. I untied the black box (with the white sticker on it) from the car's chassis and the noise stopped, at least it was more silent inside when the car was idle at the traffic lights. So, after reading here, I must have a second look to the hose of there is a split or so....

The Camera Parking System Is Currently Unavailable
MichiF replied to Pappasmurf's topic in Skoda Karoq
Pressing the appropriate button in middle console does not switch on the rear camera either, when this message appears? -
Are you sure about RDS and FM band? As far as I know traffic announcements come in via an active Skoda Connect subscription, see https://www.skoda-auto.sk/o-nas/skoda-connect-nove

FWIW, @varooomwas last online on 27th of August, hope he is well!

It's quite common that Skoda drops advertised or ordered parts without any communication towards their customers. This circumstance is left to the local dealer that will give you a small rebate and leave it to you to retreat from the contract or bite the bullet.

They do stay on. Could see them various times mirroring in the following car's wind screen...

What is so special with 0324? As usual, there is no change log, I suppose?
-
Out of interest: we are in the Karoq forum. Will the same updates for Skoda work, too, for VW like @Xerpexowns? Discovery Pro is comparable with a Columbus from Skoda, right?

I noticed since the update to 0306, my Amundsen MIB3 boots up more often instead of awakening from standby. Anyone seeing the same?
-
I took the challenge and all went fine. After using the Resume option the MIB3 restarted and is running as expected. Right after this restart, I was offered a second update which also installed w/o any issues. Thanks!

So, basically the update has finished, but not fully as it seems. The infotainment now shows below pic and I don't know how to proceed. Should I press the item which reads "Resume"?

Thanks for this reply: I do have a charger available so I would prefer this way...

Thank you 🙃 So you mean start the engine and let it charge the battery, correct? I meant, when e.g. I got a new steering wheel (because of those annoying travel assist issues, recently), the complete process of swapping this part, is documented in Skoda's internal software. This obviously applies, too, if one of the control units are exchanged because of a hardware failure. The aim might be to document the car's complete life for reference or in case of any global recall.

Hi! Just registered here because of this interesting thread about a possible software update for my Karoq! I wonder, if it would be possible to update my Karoq's software, MY 21, too? Which is the currently available software version? 306? Hardware level is H22 and software is currently 0276. Could not really follow the vid above 'cause it's in Italian language 😁 The steps necessary to update using an USB stick are clear, though. Anyway, would it be recommended to update myself? My car still has a valid warranty till the end of year 2024, nevertheless the dealer will only update upon a valid complaint about a software failure. I heard that one should have the car's battery connected to a charger to avoid any blackouts during the update. If a dealer will update a car's software, will the new version be registered at Skoda, similar if you change any hardware parts, or doesn't it matter at all? cu, Michael
