Stop/Start curious behaviour on 2.0 TSI
Can't help I'm afraid. Get in car. Start car. Press: Disable Start / Stop Select Individual Driving Mode Autohold Drive away. Have never used start / stop. Wish you could switch if off permanently and that Individual Driving Mode would stay as default until you decide to change it. Still minor 'First World Problems' really for a fantastic car.

Are you one of us?
Personally, I can think of nothing worse that getting a Karoq and making it look / sound like that. 😬 Still, it's not my car so they can do what they want.

Care of leather trim
Same here. Used it on the seats in my Octavia, Yeti and now Karoq never an problem and the leather never cracked or show signs of wear.

Karoq wheel change?
I put Cross Climate2s on my Sportline and they give an excellent ride. I do have the 4x4 so with the R45 not R40 tyres and the multilink suspension. The 2WD Sportlines do appear to have a harsher ride.

New Karoq Recruit
The voice system is pretty much useless on all cars. I still remember a Top Gear Review for a second hand Mercedes that had voice activation systems: Clarkson: Right, let's see if it still works, "Play Radio 2!" Car: "Phoning Dentist" Clarkson: Yupe. As good as always.

New Karoq Recruit
I have to use Waze as my internal Sat Nav stopped receiving live updates.

Canton Upgrade
If you have the Canton upgrade you cannot get the variable floor as the subwoofer sits in the spare tyre, and if you have the spare tyre you cannot have the variable boot floor.

ECO Mode and Fuel consumption
I tired using Eco Mode on a trip down to Devon. Drove there on Eco Mode, drove back in Normal (well Individual mode as in that I have switched off the stupid 'Soundakor'). MPG was virtually the same the only difference was the far worse engine response in Eco Mode. Haven't bothered with Eco Mode since. Or Sport Mode for that matter.

Canton Upgrade
Have the Canton in my Karoq and it is worth it to my ears. Had an Octavia and Yeti both without and a long as you get the settings right on it it makes it worth while. Run out of volume on Octavia and Yeti but no on the Karoq. The car has lots of stiarage areas so missing out on a small cubbyhole on the dashboard is hardly a scarifice. Plus you get a spare tyre in the boot which is a nice bonus.

Nearly 2 years of ownership.
Got my Sportline used so the 'Luxury Car Tax' was not an issue for me. Had Varioflex Seats in my Yeti - never used them. Acutally forgot I had a panoramic roof on my Karoq - never used that either! Swapped out the standard tyres on the 19" alloys for Cross Climate 2s and everyone says how comfortable the ride is. Never had an issue with the DSG on anyof my Skodas and I need an automatic now due to knee / hip / back issues. Even before I has these issues I always drove automatics. Always hated manuals, seems like buying a dog and barking yourself! 1.5 TSI had a troubled history with the 'kangarooing' so avoided that, so pretty much left me with only the Sportline to chose from. Still if we all like the same thing it would be boring! 😀

Nearly 2 years of ownership.
Coming up to two years with my 20 plate Karoq 2.0 TSI 4x4. Had none of the problems others have mentioned. Best car I have ever had by a long, long way. Miles better than the Octavia 1.8 L&K and Yeti 1.2 Elegance that I had. As other have done swapped to Bosch Wipers immediately and changed to Cross Climate 2 tyres before I bought the car. It's comfortable, quick, reasonably fuel efficient for a 2.0 4x4, sticks to the road like glue and I am lucky enough to have lots of extra options on the car (heated windscreen, heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, Canton Speakers, Columbus Head Unit, Leather Seats, digital dash). If only I had not kerb all four alloys within the last six months. Never touch a kerb in the Octavia and Yeti! Ho hum...

Octavia vRS CR to Karoq 2.0 tsi Sportline
I had Octavia L&K 1.8 TSI. Fantastic car. Apart from the engine. That needed replacing. ☹️ Off to We Buy Any Car it went....

Yeti owner here. Just to sayI had a look at a Karoq in the showroom today.
My Sportline 2.0 TSI DSG 4x4 Karoq is my third Skoda in a row. I really liked my Octavia L&K Hatchback but unfortunately it had one of the dodgey 1.8 TSI engines. Had it just over two years with it before it needed a new engine and off to We But Any Car it went. And queue panic as I had three days before I was back at work after the Christmas holidays and my work has no public transport links at all. A car was needed and quick. Enter: 1.2 TSI DSG Yeti Elegance. I liked the higher driving position, performance wise it was rubbish compared to the Octavia. I did not find it as comfortable as the Octavia both the seats and leg room (my left knee bangs against the central console) and the boot was way smaller than the Octavia. It also had no CD player and did not sound as good. So I was a bit grumpy about it. However, over the years it grew on me and it is a cracking little car. Then life patted me on the head and said "Good boy Pedal" and I could afford to get a newer car. This time I did not have to rush out and buy a car in three days. I did not need a car I would like a newer car. So months of searching ended with me getting a Karoq, in the colour I wanted with the 'must haves' I wanted. What a car. More comfortable the then Yeti, drives better, way quicker, grips the road like glue, bigger boot, better sound system (alas it only plays sound file as independent tracks not full albums which REALLY annoys me). Never thought I would find the auto hold, auto brake, reversing camera so useful. Heated steering wheel is lovely on these cold mornings. Rear passengers like the heated seats too. Still have the Yeti, my wife wanted it as she always liked the car and her one was past it best. Still drive the Yeti on occasion but every time I do I'm always muttering "not as nice as my Karoq". Have found all three to have great responsive DSG, the Karoq being the most responsive. With injuries all down my left side (back, hip, knee) an automatic is required. Not a fan of the facelifted version but I am not planning on changing the car until they stop making spares for it so doesn't matter!

Karoq pictures
As I am about to find out! Managed to kerb all four on mine within the last three months! Drove my Octavia and Yeti for years not a single mark on the alloys. Trying to find out where to go to fix them and what the cost will be. ☹️

Karoq pictures
Oh absolutely. Your car, do what you like. Glad you are happy with them. Are they matt or gloss finish? They look matt in the photo. Managed to kurb all four of my alloys in the last four months. SO annoyed with myself. Haven't kerbed an alloy wheel on my last four cars! Need to get them refurbished.

Glad you like it but not a fan personally.

Michelin Cross Climate on my 2.0 4x4 Sportline give a fantastic ride.

I looked at two Skodas in a showroom today .... Karoq and Kamiq.
Had a Yeti (1.2 DSG Elegance) now have a Karoq Sportline 4x4. The Karoq out performs the Yeti is every single way, except fuel econmy which is to be expected (1.2 Vs 2.0 4x4). The Karoq is better equiped, better to drive, more responsive and sticks to the road like glue. More room, more comfortable. The best car I have ever driven. My plan is to drive it until they stop making spare parts for it.

Anyone running on CrossClimate 2 225/50R18 MICHELIN CROSSCLIMATE 2 SUV ?
Have used Cross Climates on my Octavia, Yeti and Karoq. Best tyres I have ever had, hence I keep using them.

Karoq Performance Package
Yes my Sportline has aluminium pedals and oh how my wife is so jealous as she only has "normal" pedals in her Yeti. My life is is so transformed now and I have won several F1 races in my Sportline. It just seems so unfair the Skoda make people struggle on some models with "ordinary" pedals... On a serious note I do not have the Dynamic Chasis Control on my 4x4 Sportline (with aluminum pedals - did I mention them?) but from the reviews I have read online and watched on You Tube the DCC seems to have three modes "Sport" (stiffens the supsension and steeering), "Normal" (er, everything is 'normal') and "Comfort" which softenes everything and tends to make the ride a bit 'wallowly' - OK on motorways but too bouncy for everyday use. Most reviewers left it in "normal" mode as the standard suspension on a 4x4 is so good anyway. Over all opinion on DCC not really worth the money. However, you may be swayed by those aliminium pedals.....
