  1. I would be interested to see how far the 135cm would hang over, the extra 4cm either side is quite a bit. But like you said, future proofed. Watching for further info
  2. You need to do a quick coding application to tell the car LED are fitted using Obdeleven, VCDS or similar. Hope that helps
  3. 17s do fit, I am currently running my 17 inch Dezent TD with winter tyres. I think the official ET number is ET49 in 17 fitment but I could be wrong.
  4. Am I right in thinking this should be an easy swap out, replace the Mit Silkat for a header without from the none climate models?
  5. Do you have a link to the cover you bought, a search throws up too many
  6. I had a rear left blow out near your part of the world due to a pothole. Luckily I was only cruising along at the prescribed speed limit otherwise it could have cost me more than a new alloy 😁
  7. Just change it back using the steering wheel controls.
  8. And all this on a 64 car, amazing. 👍👍👍
  9. Check for saw toothing of tyres, when it happens it sounds like bearings failing. Not sure if it's as common on mk3 vs mk2 though. Dez
  10. Batvanvrs I too would appreciate the update. Thanks in advance. Kev
  11. Are those features available on MIB1 amundsen via Obdeleven?
  12. Mine was doing this the other week, check the rear internal roof light is not left on.
  13. I had a bit of trouble described above, I ended up going through the coding byte by byte until I found which byte it was that I'd accidentally (who knows) changed. It helped that other members sent copies of their coding to help. Good luck
  14. Flash, not sure on the rules now within BFG but, the settings within the radio to tell the car you were travelling on the right-hand side were enough to satisfy the bfg test on my mates car with columbus where I had to get mine coded (amunsden). The change would change angle of the head lights and switch fog light over. This was on 64 cars so may be different on the newer model. I have now used obdeleven, following the sticky thread to activate both fogs. Took about 5mins.
  15. Search for "carsio tailored black carpet car mats for skoda octavia 2013 onwards - 4 piece set with clips" On Amazon I bought them as a winter set, £10.95 and fit perfect. Means the proper ones get a good clean and put away till summer.
  16. Fixed the doors, 09 central electrics, long coding byte 02 bit 5, unticked that (Not sure what it does) result doors now work. Still throws up the faults for cabin heater left and right though.
  17. Obdeleven can change it to 5 too, just carry out the coding then do the soft reset of lights.
  18. @Gti Jazz BlueHad A look at the coding, mine are below. Not too much difference, the differences I have highlighted in BOLD. Address 42: Door Elect, Driver HW: 5Q4 959 393 B - VER 009 SW: 5Q4 959 393 B - VER 0014 Component: TSG FS Coding: 001C00208001040000001100 Drivers Door Rear Control Module: Subsystem 1 - HW: 5Q0 959 812 A Component: FOND_FHSG_DRV 005 0005 Coding: 1D0200 Address 52: Door Elect, Pass. HW: 5Q4 959 392 B - VER 009 SW: 5Q4 959 392 B - VER 0014 Component: TSG BFS Coding: 001C00208001040000001100 Passengers Rear Door Control Module: Subsystem 1 - HW: 5Q0 959 811 A Component: FOND_FHSG_PSG 005 0005 Coding: 050200 I am stuffed as to where to go now. Kev
  19. Thanks, I'll try check it out tomoz. Only got obdeleven so hopefully get some results
  20. TMac88, No the button does not work either, nor for autolock (except when I deadlock the rear doors). The powered windows still work on all windows. Ive checked fuses, disconnected battery for an hour (which threw up loads of faults) to no avail as yet. Dez
  21. Sasha, did you come across any fault codes regarding cabin heaters? I've got an issue with mine I'm wondering wether I knocked something out whilst on Obdeleven. It's affecting the rear doors and fuel cover. Kev
  22. Can anyone offer any advise on the title, my rear doors or fuel cover will not lock!! I have done a fault check and the only faults to show are LEFT/RIGHT Cabin Heaters No Signal, in the (09) Central Electrics code B149F31 which is not showing anything on a search. The alarm still works, but the little red indicator light flashes rapidly for a few seconds then steady on for 30 odd seconds then resumes normal rhythm. My car is a 64 (2015 model) Vrs Tdi Estate, no other issues if that helps, ive done searches everywhere but nothing is popping up. Ive locked them for now using the little switch inside door to prevent them being opened. Cheers
  23. Sasha. As always thank you. I too purchased Obdeleven with the pro pack, using advise from all the great people on here (make back ups etc) I've achieved some pretty nifty additions to a great car. To all prospective owners, use the advise available and you won't go far wrong but it is at your own risk. Enjoy.
  24. Sasha, are these ones in your build thread? As I'd be interested to give them a whirl. Apologies I'm only on my mobile so the search for surround didn't produce any results. Kev
