  1. The car looks very nice, the description does lack a few details though Engine/gearbox fuel type for example. I think £5,000 will be a bit of a stretch though Compare? https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202410315792065?sort=price-asc&advertising-location=at_cars&keywords=vrs&make=Skoda&maximum-mileage=80000&model=Fabia&postcode=wr40lx&year-from=2006&year-to=2013&fromsra
  2. Another clickbait one about aluminium ion but it's a long way off yet because it's too expensive.
  3. Sorry just thought it relevant if someone wanted a decent range and a lower ved than an ev 😉
  4. If without doing anything with the phone until the car pings it for the code, which should be blank, awaiting you to put the numbers in and press done/pair and it doesn't work. I think I am stuck too. The only situation i have been unable to pair is sometimes in Mercedes minibuses at work never had trouble on the enyaq. we have 40 mercs all different ages. When I cannot get the ping. usually removing a phone or two from the Merc system. Works. When it fails resetting the merc system to factory settings is my default fix, but it wipes out all the radio settings etc as well which is a pain for the other users of the vehicle when they get back in and they also have to pair their phones again. By the way when the car sees your phone does it have the icons on the right for hands free and audio profile?
  5. That is the problem. Make sure the phone is visible in it's settings ( i am not trying to say you don't know that. it's just the first caveat) Go to In the car your phone should be in (B) if there are two items in (A) remove one or even both. Touch the screen on the line for your phone. Note the icons to the right and what they mean. The pin request should arrive on your phone. 🙏
  6. Don't look for the car with the phone. Look for the phone with the car system and initiate the process from the car. Wait for the phone to ask for the pin
  7. For the c32 the same problem could be happening, have you told the phones to forget the old scout? On either of the phones if you have selected them from the car screen when it detects them, does it send a pin request to the phone do you get the opportunity to type in the pin?
  8. For the experia XA1 https://www.orange.lu/en/support/configure-your-mobile/?page=device/sony/xperia-xa1/topic/bluetooth/connect-to-and-pair-with-another-bluetooth-device/2 This from an experia forum. seems the phone may be trying to connect to a previously connected device that it knows the code for? "I have been having numerous issues with Bluetooth as well. Bluetooth and Calling seem to be the biggest problems I have had with my XA1 sine I got it last month. For Bluetooth, it seems like whenever you turn it on, the first thing it wants to do is auto connect to whatever device you last had it paired to. This is extremely frustrating when you want to try and add a new device because it seems like you have to sit and wait for the phone to figure out that your previous device is unavailable. I had problems trying to connect my phone to my mom's car via Bluetooth as well. I don't think there's any real specific method for getting it to work. My recommendation would be to park yourself somewhere safe, make sure all other devices with Bluetooth enabled are turned off and just try and be patient with your XA1. Eventually you should be able to enter the pin number to connect the two devices. "
  9. just checked octavia 2024 and it looks the same or similar https://digital-manual.skoda-auto.com/w/en_GB/show/662c5ea7ae6ce0bd264bbb5682e976bc_1_en_GB?ct=89fbf36dd3329734ac1445255539ef42_1_en_GB#titled16828727e48181
  10. I think my enyaq is the same. I can only see total mileage when i turn it off. But i can adjust the "long term" to nil which shows all the time. Does the vrs have a long term, the superb does.
  11. I would go back to this and see what is currently in the system and delete any that currently don't work or are unused. Then try again searching for the phone from the car system
  12. When I connected to my enyaq a code appeared on the dashboard, my phone asked me to input it to pair. Using the bottom one of these two options
  13. How do the pins become different if you type the pin into your phone when the car gives it?
  14. This says mib3 on my computer https://compatibilitylist.skoda-auto.com/
  15. Is this after you have paired the phone using the pin the car sends to it or are you not receiving the pin prompt on the phone? Compatibility checker https://digital-manual.skoda-auto.com/w/en_GB/show/670968590973c403ac1445252ebe746b_2_en_GB?ct=8c0050d89584b248ac1445250d28230d_1_en_GB#titled6199137e60867

  17. There is Government support available for this sector. For example all of the above companies have secured funding from the Automotive Transformation Fund, operated by the UK Advanced Propulsion Centre. The fund aims to establish a competitive and sustainable UK supply chain with a share of up to £1 billion of funding. However, the market for these industries remains highly competitive globally with other countries also seeking to support a domestic supply chain.15 https://researchbriefings.files.parliament.uk/documents/CDP-2024-0080/CDP-2024-0080.pdf
