I do offer help where I can but tbh I try stay away as it seems more hassle than its worth trying to sort things on here and offer help. Lol yea mate and there is nearly 3 foot missing off the back too which has the muffler delete section lol Update on this I am really struggling to get the driveshaft off lol This is slowly becoming a pita.

Cheers si. I have the zorst on one jack. Will def be using a jack mate. Mine really needs doing tho coz the input seal is propper dripping. I am also undersealing it seen as its all off. I dont want to be stripping it again while I own it lol. It's damn hard work.

No not one of those vs threads. Just wish my new m5 is as easy to work on as my passed vRS. I remember things being simple and pretty light weight on the octy? In comparison, I am currently doing some thu gs on my new toy and omg everything is so damn heavy and big! Jobs needed to be done are Cam position sensor bank 2 Input diff seal Also seen as I am at it and its 14years old I hought ide Change all 4 cam position sensors Change all diff seals both outputs and the input Change the mounting bushes New prop shaft bearing Replace prop shaft damper Also change the thermostat and all temp sensors and switch. Mafs also to be done. Mmmmm Well to get the cps sorted is not too bad just very fiddly and even worse when you have fat hands like mine. Am now on to the diff, well to get it off the entire zorst needs to come off and boy is it long and heavy! Also under braces need taking off too. Now the zorst is basically 2 octy ones side by side with 2 pipes and 2 cats 2 resonators lol its bloody big. Dont know the weight of the diff or prop shaft as yet lol Also must add I am on stands in my garage and doing it alone :-s

Diesel expands more than petrol tho. I just fill and use the nozzle to push it at same time. Then keep an eye on it in the neck. Normally get an extra 12-13l in there.

Evening all. Right here it is. I have a sale listing on here and a member said they wanted it. I said ok fine and soon as payment was received ide remove the ebay listing too. Anyway typical I then had 2 people after them on ebay. On here I am asking 240 or 260 posted. On ebay I listed them for 300 plus post. Now while the member on here has been at work the listing was purchased by someone on ebay for the full ammount and for collection. Where do I stand and what should I do? Typical as it always happens I try sell thungs then everyone comes at once for it. Billy

Perfect mate. 3 were repainted and one with winter on is original. Some bubbling all are dirty. Been stacked in garage. Need them gone as need the room for the car.

I have a set of fabia vRS alloys with tyres. 1 is a cheap winter tyre 205 45 16 3 are nankangs with some life left. Can also include a matching one for you to use instead of the winter tyre. They all could do with a refurb and dont all hold pressure as the beads are not the best. Collection from Newport south wales. £75

And so it starts, Here is just a few bits Ive got from the dealer to sort my E39 M5. We have here: 2x Intake cam sensors 2x Outlet cam sensors Thermostat Temp switch/sensor all new seals and gaskets coolant Gearbox output seals Drive shaft damper Centre bearing Diff input and output seals Diff oil Diff bushes all new nuts and bolts nice list of things to sort out seen as the input seal is leaking. These are expensive cars, but omg the few times Ive been out in her its worth it. only one sensore has gone but seen as I am there and all the sensors are 14 years old I thought Ide best do them all.
