MGP Woes :(
The 2.0 TDI is very likely Regenning more than it used to and using more diesel. If it is getting 39 mpg over 7 miles from a cold start that sounds pretty good.

Fabia Mk4 130.
Is it really the fastest Fabia that Skoda sold? Weight / Power compared to a Mk2 Fabia vRS. Well over twice the price 15 years later than the vRS, & even a Polo GTI Twincharger from 2010. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/527769-skoda-news/page/2

Six months in
An oil & Inspection service and a Pollen filter replaced should be expected. They might even say Brake Fluid is due a change now at 2 years and no longer first at 3 years. Other up-selling as well, AC service and the brakes being 80% worn, not only 20%.

Fabia 1.2 TSI - Occasional Engine Judder
@Nitrox_69 The plugs should be good for longer, but assume nothing, the engine is not running right. Check. Inspect. A failing plug can have an ignition coil fail. Open the Air Filter box, and check. Basic stuff. Like a fuel filter.

Auto Lights Retrofit
It is over 2 years since @singh946 signed in.

Fabia 1.2 TSI - Occasional Engine Judder
Well done on that miles. Have it checked for any Stored Fault codes, like misfires. When were the spark plugs last changed? When was the air filter last checked?

Brake pedal sinking
? What is impressive? So you never had brake failure. Many people never carry out preventative maintenance and never have issues, maybe never will and maybe eventually they will.

Brake pedal sinking
@beezera10 The cars braking system might well have to be air tight to operate, but it is not perfectly 'airtight' which is why H20 can then be in the system and the brake fluid. Seals deteriorate, as do brake pipes. Millions might not change brake fluid and never be aware of brake fluid overheating or the water and brake fluid. But then millions might never use brakes hard, or get discs or pads very hot. Many might leave engine oil and filters untouched for years. Each to their own.

Why will they not produce a Fabia vRS
Only 7 years later & the Mk4 Fabia 130 Limited Edition,. 1.5 TSI EVO with 175 BHP & DSG.

Water temperature problem
What Is it a TDI, & is it a DSG, or a TSI, ? Has it had the water pump replaced? How many miles has it done?

Appalling Customer Service
Simple's is for them to have replied. 'We are sorry to read your comments and we will rectify any issues that you have found with the car you purchased, which should have been addressed before you collected it.'

Appalling Customer Service
Hopefully there will be someone from the SKODA / VW Executive Team looking at the actions of one of their approved dealerships. (Idiots!)

Good bye Skoda.. Good bye guys
^^^ That is a shame. I have a MG5 EV and the steering wheel is exactly as fitted to a Golf GTI.
-
Appalling Customer Service
Name them to shame them and i will get them to the top 5 Internet / AI searches for Skoda Dealerships. They might think any publicity is good publicity until they get what they will get for free.

Tow bar problems
Welcome. Spring Assistors are still a thing. But was it 'Bouncy' unloaded and driving solo, not towing? Did you reset the tyre pressures? What are you going to be towing, and what engine / gearbox has your Estate?

vRS built and sat at Emden - Roughly how long?
Really who and when they arrive in the UK is not about SALES or Importing and paying the tax and getting the vehicles paid for and out to Customers, but very much about First Registrations and meeting the Co2 Fleet Averages and the EV Mandate First Registrations are being met. Dealers vehicles for individual / private customers vehicles might well get treated differently to Fleet / Motability / Lease of 'Management / Demonstrator vehicles. Less urgently or more urgently.

Which gearbox? 1.5 TSI Combi, SE-L
It is only the DQ200 with separate oil in the Mechatronic Control Unit and in the box. Why no Oil filter as in nearly all the other DSG,s were the clutches are in the oil & that oil is in the MCU as well. (Why with DQ381,s that the Manufacturer / Workshop / dealer employees should say Oil filter not needing changed at 80,000 miles and first at 160,000 or the 2nd Oil service.

No Handbrake-On Light
Best the OP finds where the fault is then & fixes it then if the Hand Brake is so poor it is not obvious it is still applied, even just a little.
-
No Handbrake-On Light
I guess no Hand Brake / parking brake light. Why should there be? Put your hand on the Hand Brake and know if it is applied or not.
-
1.0 mpi 6 speed transmission conversion
@nta16 a n/a 1.0 3 cylinder engine. No turbo it is not a TSI.
-
Which gearbox? 1.5 TSI Combi, SE-L
It is not sealed. You open the drain plugs and the Box and MCU can be serviced, oils changed. It is just that the Manufacturer has no Service Guidelines, Advice, Schedule or specifications for servicing the DQ200 DSG. (People do service them.)
-
Which gearbox? 1.5 TSI Combi, SE-L
That makes no difference. It is not a 2.0 TSI or TDI or AWD or a PHEV, so not a DQ250, DQ381 or a DQ400-e. It is a Twin Dry Clutch DSG.
-
Which gearbox? 1.5 TSI Combi, SE-L
If FWD and 150 ps / 250 Nm max it is a DQ200 7 speed twin dry clutch DSG with 2 oils and no service schedule or regime. & no filter to change.
