Hit a pothole :(

I thought I'd missed it dude, turns out it was bigger than expected! Still getting earache for her getting it stuck. Had to get some blokes to shove it while she was trying to get traction lol, kids said it was like a see saw and caused a bit of a traffic jam

I'm in bad books with her indoors! 1) hitting a pothole and getting a puncture is my fault! 2) she's got it stuck on a speed ramp this morning and couldn't move it! That's also my fault apparently

I would. There's no lar that states you can't stretch tyres and that they are illegal in which case your policemen friends will tell you. All they are concerned with is if the tyres make contact/scrub on the bodywork which is when it starts getting to be a police matter

I dare say that my 8.5x18's have been more of a pain in the backside than those above due to them being et25
-
8x18 et51 and 225/40/18 I think are standard. I know james with the blue fl on air runs 8.5x19's but unsure on et and tyre. redders is on 9x20's and volf is on 9 & 10x19's. It's a lot to do with the wheels et more than the width I'd say
-
Mine are exactly the same and it's passed an mot and be looked over by police at local meets and nothing wrong. If it was then there would be no shows cars running stretch etc. I agree it's not for everyone and extreme stretch does look ridiculous, but minimal stretch isn't going to cause issues.

That's not drifting lol, that's poor car control We've all done it and it's part of learning. Put some poop wheels on the bk to save the posh ones
-
Cash money has been paid sorry
-
Looks awesome! Nowt wrong with how those tyres are fitted and nothing at all wrong with a bit of stretch. Drift cars run it with no issues and there a damn sight harder driven than most road cars ever will be!

Intercoolers, twintercoolers and KO4 conversions?
SNH replied to VRobS's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
The only thing I found was that I'd have to cut was to make room for the end pipes and to notch the bar. I'll being doing it at some point so I'll keep it updated -

The mk1 boys use them. Proven time and time again to give good results and only cost £80 off eBay. There universal so you'll have to do sort the pipework yourself but it'll still come in at under £200 inc cooler -

It'll probably need modifying to fit behind it like on the mk1's but there is bags of room tbh. I had one but never got round to fitting it so a mate had it for his defender. Once I've got other bits sorted I'll get round to it. I begrudge spending 500-700 on something you can't see. -
