  1. It's not man enough so looks like I'm stuck with it and her indoors will have to get a 4x4 for towing.
  2. Melted internals haha, although they are supposed to be pretty strong and can handle decent power
  3. Had my eye on one that needed a bit doing which is what I'm looking for with a view to turbo'ing it. But after a bit more research about towing with the vrs it's seems that it's not going to cope so a 4x4 is now on the cards. I will have another vr6 one day though
  4. Anyone know what the tow capacity is? I know it's a twin axle horsebox but not managed to have a nose round it to find the weight of it.
  5. Are they pretty capable? I'll be towing a horsebox with 1 and on the odd occasion 2 horses in it. What towbars are people using? Cheers
  6. Loving this! Looking seriously awesome, good skills
  7. FK ak streets on mine, bang on for the money. £190 from dpm performance on here
  8. Last few pics before it's raised and a towbar fittedB
  9. Inbox me some pics details It's brill but goin up the farm track is ruining it and I'm old school at heart
  10. It's not bad, 10j bbs on it etc
  11. Seen another vr6 project
  12. Putting it bk to near standard, raising it and fitting a towbar so we can pull the horse box. It's getting ruined at the min being to low and grounding out everywhere. Most mods will be coming off in the process. I'm bored of it anyway tbh, I'm old school and this just isn't me.
  13. I'd much rather use shark or rtech tbh.
  14. Putting mine bk to standard if your still looking
  15. Mapped my mates vxr, seems a pretty good guy.
  16. Slowly losing patience with this! Start to get somewhere then hit a set back. Fox 1 vrs 0 Bumper grille smashed, manage to click it back on but how long it lasts I don't know. 2 outer grilles gone and bumper split. Too much on to even clean it!
  17. Not sure, I think all the ko3 equipped cars are. There's one on eBay off an ed30 golf but that looks different tbh
  18. Fitted a revision D piston type dv and it's all fine now The newest revision is a G which is an uprated diaphragm type. Lots of different views on which is better but the rev D has been ok for me.
  19. He's got a mk1 not mk2. There's no need to fork our £200 when a spacer and newest rev dv give the noise you want It is pretty loud too.
  20. Newest rev and a spacer will give you the noise your after. I run a rev D and spacer and it's pretty loud, I have an autotech intake which helps too
  21. If only the roads were flat enough to run like this all the time!
