Can anyone tell me how i translate the engine type ea189 that seems to be in all the papers to the engine codes in the cars. I have a 2011 1.6 diesel Fabia 55kw and engine code is CAyA

Going to replace pads and hope that cures it.

I will ask them to sort it but as you say I am concerned that they are crap so better off going somewhere else. I might replace pads myself see if that sorts it but it feels more like air. Anyone know part number for rear pads for 2010 vrs they have 272 discs

I live in Belgium so customer service is not like UK. They will just charge me. Might take it to another Skoda dealer to do brake fluid change. The pads are only about a year old.

I have just had mt brake fluid changed and the pedal travels along way and the brakes feel rubbish. Its a 2010 VRS and the brakes used to bit brilliantly right at the top. Is it possible the brake fluid change has been done badly and there is air in the brakes? They also replaced the rear discs and I know these will need time to bed in but this should not make spongy brake pedal that travels alongway before it brakes. The pads were not replaced would that affect it. Any help to a car numpty appreciated. Thanks

I have 4 clicks so might loosen a bit as it feels like they are dragging. Have to see if pedal then spongy and travelling

When brake fluid replaced like I just had at a service do they have to bleed system. Could have air in possibly?

I have just had new rear discs and the pedal is moving quite a way. I have tighten hand brake. Can you over tighten it? It clicks 3 or 4 times.

Deleted all the phone memory and reset phone and media on headset. Faded with vcds and deleted paired device on phone. One of them sorted it as it now works No more whining children saying they want frozen and I can't play it

I can't see anything on media about Bluetooth audio. There used to be something where I could add it on my maxidot and that's gone. The settings of media and phone show nothing so it is really weird.

I have used my vcds to try to find a reson why my bluetooth audio has stopped working. The CD is now working and aux but anyone suffered with this no bluetooth audio. I have tried to re pair and check bluetooth settings and all fine. All else perfect but no bluetooth music my phone does not even show in tunes the option like it used to. Could my phone be the problem? Any help appreciated as aux is doing my head in !!!!

No it was all working fine then all of media stopped.

I have a Columbus and it has suddenly lost all the media. You press the button and it says no medium available. Before Bluetooth and everything worked. Tried a factory reset on just the media and no change any ideas please. Stuck with no music :( All the rest of the Columbus works perfectly sat nav etc Thanks if you can help my 1000 mile trip with no good music

I have been a **** and reversed yes with sensors into another car. Not a scratch on theirs my corner crumpled. Pdc still works but need a replacement bumper. Is it a fit job to remove and fit a new one with sensors or a bitch? Trying to save some money after being such a numpty
