  1. Bit of a long shot but nothing to lose, you could try spraying contact/switch cleaner into the switch. Switch may be waterproof so this may not help.
  2. I had 3 broken springs on my Mk II octy over 11 years ownership. Not doubting your mechanical ability but I failed to spot one of the broken springs after looking long and hard and had an MOT failure😕. I did spot the other 2😇
  3. BigJakk, do you know if the TPI shows the manufacturing date range of the cars affected?
  4. This may be of some useYeti Panoramic Roof Leak.pdf
  5. To be clear are you saying the cracks are in the root of the tread, the part that contacts the road, or the side wall of the tyre that has the writing on it. Don't wish to be rude but you said "part of the tyre where the tread depth bump is located " and some of the discussion is about the side wall. If it is the root of the tread I seem to recall Dunlop had problems with this many years ago. An observation if all four tyres were replaced at the same time and not rotated under normal circumstances I would expect the front to have different tread depths to the back. Might be interesting to check the date code on each tyre and see if they are the same.
  6. Seems the Yeti had/has real problems. One of the many issues forum owners found was not with the the drain pipes and connections but a split or faulty join in the plastic surround for the sun roof. One of the posts from memory sounds very like yours, kept looking at the drain pipes, and could not understand why they still had a leak. They sealed it by using a special adhesive (used in boats I think) that filled the crack/joint by capillary action. One Yeti owner removed the whole sunroof to fix it! The above might be useful when discussing with the VW specialist. I am interested in this topic as I have a panoramic on my Octavia and want to be prepared😟
  7. You might want to check out a long similar thread on the Yeti forum. One discussion identified a split in a plastic join in the sunroof frame (my simplified explanation). Would not use silicone as it fails to stick to many plastics unless they are very clean which is difficult in your situation.
  8. A small claims court action may be suggested by the CAB, Suspect Skoda may not like the reputational damage or the risk of a precedent being set to be used by others. Good luck.
  9. Can anyone tell me how/if I can check the remaining adblue range. Car is MY19 SE L with Amundsen and virtual cockpit. Manual seems to say I have to wait for the low adblue warning. Thanks
