I made 227 on stock exhaust system (hybrid) just decatted and custom intake standard air filter - no need unless going past 240.

Depends what type, I run mine at 2 bar it's a turbo Dynamics and squeezed 227 on an accurate reading dyno no more power out of it really unless I wanted to effect reliability somewhat could have gone 2.1 but TD said 2bar is fine, I reckon it still only make 230 at 2.1 bar. 300! You've got more chance finger blasting Megan fox!

Totally agree I've done maf logs, on a remapped car it does absolutely nothing for performance nor does an aftermarket bigger exhaust.

I think the s2000 filter has a velocity stack built in too. The paper oem filters are pleated to increase surface area, same effect as bobbled foam filters. -

Used to work in oil&gas majority comes from same refinery, stuff like vpower from shell is different actually better I've dynod tested it vs bp ultimate, ok 97 vs 99 but bp ultimate is barely 97 it was a joke the amount of advance I could get on with same day! -

Ah ok so it's part of the lock mechanism itself? If that's the case might as well do as you say and replace whole mech. Cheers -

Agree with John here (seen it with my own eyes and logs) I was getting boost creep and had to almost fully wind out the actuator rod on my turbo (thanks to Matt for helping me)
