Anyone round Yorkshire alter my actuator rod?
ajs_vrs posted a topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Had a few problems with boost and lag, and vacuum box, all sorted now but length was lengthened too much. Anyone round Yorkshire can do it? Will pay. Cheers -
Taken out of a few in hondas complete system Inc compressor, rad, pipes and canister was around 11kg when weighed.
-
Has anyone replaced this and can give me a quick guide, I've got the complete pipe. Does the plastic barb from the back of the engine bay come off or is it replaced? Cheers
-
Less engine work? is clutch less I'd imagine so virtually nothing.

300bhp fabia wont rev past 3200rpm
ajs_vrs replied to SKYHAWK's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Sounds good pal hope you get it sorted. All this thing is rapid -
Why you want to remove it? Surely the whole system only weighs about 10kg?
-
Vibration tells you one thing it's sitting on some something or hitting something, probably the crash bar.

Does buzzing vacuum box (when switching off) indicate there's an issue an evidence it effects anything like spool?
-
I need a new brake servo pipe and bonnet open handle with bit that houses bowden cable where can I get the part numbers so I can buy the bits off to dealers? Cheers

Split vacuum hose to brake servo

Just wondering if anyone has done a similar fix what diameter pipe they used etc? Thinking of lopping end off and putting some rubber hose on it and two hose clamps either side. -
I'm wanting a new vacuum box for my blt engined fabia, anywhere I can look? Darkside seems expensive? Cheers

Budget lowering, coilovers or springs?
ajs_vrs replied to AdamOP94's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Of course not for 200 your limited to **** coilovers and should really spend another 180. -

Joms are absolutely ****ing terrible they lower the car that's about it, crashy and bouncy and I smashed a sump due to rebound and it wasn't that low, best bang per buck ap's! If you searched you'll have seen many people saying this. -
A modded fabia is poor cruiser on motorways apart from Mpg and bit of grunt, once you drive a half decent saloon.
-
You in Cumbria? Plenty of hybrid etc knocking about. If I was going to gtb2260 I wouldn't bother unless putting bigger nozzles in to take advantage of them, your really pushing them at 250+.

Fuchs titan, have a search on here think it's 75/90

Help! VRs won't start after fuel filter change!
ajs_vrs replied to Stuart27183's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Undo the hoses, leave for little while then reconnect and turn on ignition but don't start do a few times then start. I had similar issue. -
You adjust it to meet your requested boost without overboosting or underboosting and maxing out your n75. Altering has small effect on spool but mainly to open vanes when running high boost. Around 65-70pc is best at 4000 rpm this is n75 duty cycle value, it can adjust to meet requested boost.

Like this but for BLT http://www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/products/darkside-1-9-8v-pd105-2-0-16v-tdi-pd-ppd-and-cr-egr-delete-race-pipe.html Complete with turbo pipe flange and nuts and comes with EGR/ASV attached. £60 ovno.

Ha that's problem I've a few tools I've literally used once! For one job! Ha

It's because the force is distributed equally and no movement, ring spanners are ok for anything on just tight and if you don't want to round the edges.

No one has ever asked this question before on here lol... Do a search.

Got my new vrs and extremely pleased

Enjoy and welcome aboard -
Silky has logged this on his 270 bhp setup and said cone filter spools up slightly early nut doesn't filter as well and once on boost no difference in spool or flow.
