Looking for a 'classic' car from the late 70s
Beryl's Chief Pilot replied to 'daiking''s topic in General Automotive Chat
I agree with a lot of the suggestions on here but I'm gonna throw 2 more in....Austin 1300 GT a nippy practical car. Triumph 2000. Classy, roomy and quick by those standards. -
Yes I used to go to the running horse on occasion and it was fine. Also of course on the other side of the junction there's the Malta, very similar set up as it's a Beefeater, used to very popular back in the day, the have a big car park too.

I can see the formation of a new Brisky Quiz here Richard. Maybe a picture of a fuel pump sans hoses from an unusual angle with incorrect focus? Obviously not yet though as I've given the game away. . . ;-) -
Due to previous engagements I've been asked to move this to the beginning of the month as a one off, so it's become the Ashford Christmas meet. The table is booked for 8pm in the name of Jonny. There is another difference in this one though..... it's a special Christmas 3 Course Menu of a selection of the Chef's favourite dishes and it's £26.99 per head. As you all know, it is great food :p and the menu can be viewed via the old mill website. I've booked it for 8 People provisionally so please advise me of attendance and I'll adjust the table booking to suit. I'll start off the attendees list: 1. BCP 3. Button Crazy Fitness 5. Swiss Family Drury. 6. Barry Crazy Roomy. 8. Charles & Edward Button Esq.

Nice meet Wednesday thanks guys. After the mix up of Barry not being able to find us. All future tables will be booked under the name of Mr Brisk (unless anyone has a better idea?) and whoever has reception can maybe post up on the site the location of the table for latecomers as well as us letting the bar staff know to direct people! I assumed that the waiter would let the rest of the team know when we said we were waiting for Barry? WRONG!!!

Is that to try and tempt me to return to 'assist' Mike? :p
