Been running the other halfs Fabia SDI on a 50/50ish mix of sunflower oil its running very nicely indeed. But I dived in it this morning to help defrost the windows and im sure when starting from cold its quieter now? Possible or im just getting a bit Mutton Geoff in my old age?

I had a similar problem when my battery was on its way out. I say when the battery was on its way out it was the day before the battery died!

agree it's not as good as lead but its better than nothing it showed a emissions issue when I bought my car. Just a little bit more ammo when buying a car for a better price
