  1. I have a few that are 2 years old now. Might replace them as can't imagine they last to long.
  2. Jesus sounds scary. Had fade on track a few times with poor pads and old fluid. Hope they sort your calipers out!
  3. Just looked at your Brembos again, they look smart behind the 1.2s! Would love another set of decent stoppers Add to the wish list!
  4. Ah that is close I had the same thing myself with a set of APs and some comp mo's! Worked ok with no issues though, bit of doubt the first few times I went for a drive mind.
  5. I once was in the same situation. I got a lock wheel nut removal tool as mention above from halfords. Worked a treat Only about a tenner to! I had the assistance of an impact driver though so might of made it easier.
  6. I'm interested... Though I hear the company is run by a bunch of idiots which makes me not want to give them money. If I have the front I will defo need the rear lol Won't have any funds til end of March at earliest.
  7. They look like pros being black. If no one knows I have a contact email address for someone in Eibach.
  8. There is a guide on here somewhere. I have stumblerd across it a few times.
  9. Do you think we will get a session full of Skodas then Jason?
  10. Hi guys, I am looking for some pics if anyone has any? I wondered what the rear could look like with having a different tail pipe? Twin out-rolled? Or like a 3inch single pipe etc... I expect I will go for a twin tail pipe backbox like OEM when I go for a new system, but it would be good to see other options first! What you got? Thanks!
  11. K&N 57i Induction Kit FITS VW / AUDI / SEAT / SKODA 1.9/2.0 TDi DIESEL ENGINES This was fitted to a Skoda Octavia Vrs 2.0Tdi PD170. This has been used but is in good condition. Comes boxed with all fittings and fitting instructions. Only takes 10 minutes to install and can be done by anyone with a socket set. Sounds great on the TDi engines and looks great in the engine bay! I got this off a forum member for £50, fitted it once and took it straight off as the Mrs said it was to loud! Throaty roar on it... Would like £45 delivered back for it ideally On eBay if anyone wants it for a deal! Ends on weekend http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330679769374#ht_8489wt_924 Happy to sell outside ebay!
  12. I was quoted £180 including 4wheel alignment for fitting coilovers from 2 garages who were performance specialists. There was a set of these on ebay, brand new for £80, which never sold lol
  13. Makes me want a fl white vrs! Looks more manly lol
  14. Looks like a tidy install there. Where is the tray from? That something you made or is that an off the shelf item?
  15. Ah nice one, good read! I have been offered the Piper Cat-back exhaust system (2 twin pipes like stock) for the TFSI, fingers crossed it will fit / line up ok on my PD170. Expect I will go for this, it has a normal mid box so won't be too boomy. Not sure I will bother with a de-cat... something I could add later if I felt I wanted more. If your able to add a little vid at some point with any types of sound that would great
  16. I have a set of.new.eibach pro springs I will be selling soon. If anyone is interested?
  17. Yeah nice one steve. Agree about Milltek to, bit pricey considering the price of others. Dont suppse you have a vid of yours do you? Wouldn't mind abit more of a note to the drive.
  18. Thank you for your reply. After reading more into it on the ibiza pds they appear to have the same part numbers for petrol and diesel milltek systems. So a similar senerio for the octavia. I will probably give a petrol cat-back system a try, with the normal silencers in place to limit the drone. Maybe a piper or similar. Looks like Supersprint have the same part numbers for the octy diesel and petrol hatch, not sure if they have mid silencer in though.
  19. Spoke to someone who can supply the Milltek systems for the Petrol Vrs, he reckons they should fit and be "ok" with the PD engine. Can anyone confirm if this is the case? I am only looking for Cat-back. Little bit put off by the "custom" exhaust place I visted earlier :S
  20. Hi guys, Before I go for DPF/EGR delete and a remap I am considering changing the exhaust system. Does anyone sell an off the shelf full system to fit a PD170 hatch? I have never used a custom exhaust place before, but guess that's one option. :wonder: Thanks
  21. Good way of keeping the key not so grubby, Nice one mate!
  22. If only the ebay pre-fl one was as simple as that Brimma, otherwise good shout!
