Haha, great minds think alike Clive. Pretty sure it was mapped November 2011 so a lot could have changed since then.

I've just looked at your video and 2bar would be the 3 o'clock position on your gauge, it doesn't get that far around. Difficult to tell but it looks to be around 1.7bar. I also remember that it made 330bhp.

Welcome aboard, we're in Mansfield so if you need anything at all, give us a call

Volvo C30 Diesel Automatic, Opinions from Experience please.
shark_90 replied to Ootohere's topic in General Automotive Chat
I'm a massive fan of my C30 and the D5 V50 I had before it. I'm not a big fan of autos to be honest but the D5 geartronic is the one I'd have if I were choosing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free -
Thanks for your feedback, the STS is not compatible with the CR170 in any case. We're not the cheapest tuning company in the world, there is good reason for that and there are posts on this forum and elsewhere to backing that up.

shark remap not at shark hq
shark_90 replied to mikejay's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
To confirm, if you go to an authorised Shark Performance dealer, the map is still made by us, just delivered via a dealer. Hope that helps! -
STS units are reusable providing that the car it was originally used on has been reset to standard, before reselling the unit

Fabia 1.6CR - Remap and DPF removal in Manchester ?
shark_90 replied to Hudson1's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Our remap with the DPF on gives ~130bhp on our dyno (which usually reads lower than most) and costs £471 with dyno time, saves a trip to Denmark (although Mansfield is still a trek for some people) -
CR 170 hesitation after map
shark_90 replied to Lew0-VRS's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
They don't currently, but we do at Shark HQ if that helps. -
Looking at a remap for pd170 - what to expect.
shark_90 replied to flat-eric's topic in Performance & Tuning Upgrades
There's nothing wrong with remapping the PD170, if it's done properly and the foibles are checked and accounted for. -
You can find a list of authorised Milltek distributors at http://www.millteksport.com/stockists.cfm#.Ujg7glRwZdg Alternatively we could supply and fit the exhaust along with the DPF removal and remap if you wished. We offer package prices for this kind of thing, if you'd like to call the office on 01623 332233 one of the guys will run through it with you.

CN Tuning in Wokingham or BR Developments in Swindon are your nearest dealers. -
CR 170 hesitation after map
shark_90 replied to Lew0-VRS's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
The ECU used in your CR170 is totally different to what you had in the Fabia, and a lot, lot more complicated. I've seen a few cars with an issue that sounds like this, but only a dyno run (on a longish run to emulate the road) would confirm it. -
Welcome from Mansfield also

I saw this at the Nurburgring last weekend!

Interesting story there Al, and one I don't quite agree with. How did your customers present identify a boost leak on the car? There was no "less than professional attitude" on the day, quite simply the customer decided to book in with us to have the map sorted the day after, which we did. We retuned the car to stop it smoking it's backside off. I think we lost 1hp along with the torque spike, but held the power for longer without filling the workshop with smoke. I'll refrain from posting further and filling up your forum with posts from us, but I wanted to set the record straight about the reasons why the car was retuned and the supposed attitude from me or any of my staff. Regards Ben

This thread is a discussion about the 2.0TFSI engine, not the 1.8T so the power figures and lag described here aren't really relevant.

2004 fabia vrs remap? Who's the man for the job!
shark_90 replied to Glenlampard's topic in Performance & Tuning Upgrades
Sorry to be picky Andy, but Mikko is Finnish, Finland isn't part of Scandinavia. He also lives in Mansfield. And he does keep bugging me for a raise :( -
Hi, looking at the email and the PM to me, your car details weren't mentioned so unfortunately we were unable to quote you correctly. Now I know that you have a Fabia vRS TDI, the map price is £249 inc VAT and this includes the immobiliser map. Thanks Ben

Only Skoda could tell you that.

Ashby Foleville Classic Car and Bike Meeting
shark_90 replied to Gonzo900r's topic in Big Shows & Events
Well I went down last night in the classic Merc and all in all it was a good meet with some lovely cars on show... That is until the Feds turned up with a chopper, plain clothes officers recording everyone's car, marked cars parked everywhere and threats of being towed away and being told to disperse. We're talking about classic MGs here with old boys and their grandsons, not Corsas and Saxos. Sad. One of my favourites just parked away in the car park Although that baby blue Cortina was mint, and the Lada with a Fiesta ST engine in was very interesting! -
