  1. Obbiously you have a BM ,:-) lol
  2. lol.Funny post driven a BMW for nearly 5 years.Sat inside umpteen BMW models,Had an A4 1.8T quattro Audi, had many spins in a friends Carrera 4S.Nothing special about any single one of them. So,got a bit of a know about interiors :-) There is absolutely nothing to seperate them now.Anyone who thinks they have something special with a BMW is,shall we say ,wrong.Or I would have bought a new one Nothing special whatsoever.Great cars, but no better than a mondeo. In any way, shape or form.I lie.I said the real M models are,and they are
  3. I'll see in three years. Lol ;-) Until then,I'll put with a car they virtually every motoring journalist and magazine and paper says is a top quality csr Not convinced BM can come up to their standard.Really cannot say they strike me as premium special brand.More in the Vauxhall Ford league nowadays. As I have said, great cars, but they really are not special.unless you have an m3,4,5,6 lol. Then they are a bit different
  4. Lol My sales chap was more than happy working for Skoda.Brilliant training etc Coffee....saw no machine! Got a nice cup made though All in all, quality experience without the pomposity I have experienced for 5 years...its just a car and no,you aren't doing me a favour, I'm looking after you! As I say,not moaning about my bm experience but they aren't Rolls Royces!
  5. ok,5 years with a 318d.Never expected a sports car.Obviously! Brilliant car, cheap to run Driven the new 320d m sport.Brilliant car great fun However, how people can say say cheap compared to premium brand is slightly beyond me.Felt no comparable differences in interior quality or performance. Not at all.Skoda actually felt classier. And Im a lawyer who should be driving a 3 series BM! Marginal difference between these brands now, just a name
  6. forgot to say.Mine was the lowest bhp (120?)but I had no gripe whatsoever with th the car or its performance. The Octavia is simply a better car
  7. 07 reg so previous model(se,wow, you get rear parking sesors.lol),but been given 320d m sport for a loan car. Honestly?BMW lovely but I'd take the vrs any day.Interior, performance, all of it Think my car would list about £28k with the extras. Not far off the same price.Know what I prefer :-)
  8. Just swapped my 318d for a vRS with DSG So much more kit in the Skoda.Such a lovely place to be.A much nicer drive.A far better looking car. All round,I cannot say how pleased I am with my swap.Stunning and solid. And 20 mpg more !
  9. Get those odds and ends sorted,be a cracking car
  10. Had a spin in a 320d sport as a loan car when I had my 318 d.Very nice.Enjoy! Mind you, just come back to the fold andswapped my BMW for an Octavia vRS tdi dsg, race blue and have spent the whole day with a smile on my face
  11. 70 bhp short of worth it. Dont know why VAG plays these games. They will sell the cars! Some of us prefer Skoda, some Audi, some VW some Seat.Pointless holding back on power sharing and 230 bhp disappointing
  12. Not posted for a couple of years due to driving a dreary 318d bmw. Can't slate it.Was fine However put my deposit down on 14 plate vRS hatch.Race blue,DSG,diesel.Pick it up next week. Can't flipping wait :-) Daft thing is,previously couldnt afford another skoda I wanted so I had to get the BM.Lol
  13. Great choice.Lovely watch Swiss Watches Direct are fine.Got my Longines Hydroconquest from them Couple of people have mentioned Christopher Ward.Very tempted to get one of his watches And yes,we would all love a Calatrava but that is a different world!
  14. Classic mini. i'd forgotten how much fun real driving was
  15. Skodaless at the mo but would love another Octavia vRS,Yeti or Superb.SO underwhelmed by the latest Fabia including the vRS (loved our last one!) So,Nissan X Trail so much a 'Does what it says on the tin' a great. car. An MX5...just soooooo good but perhaps the slowest thing on the planet....thinking its elise time A classic mini cooper sport.Breaks down every time it goes out yet we fight for the keys!! oh,what a car
  16. Not too worried Rio's crocked.Would be if it was Rooney! In football, never understood if the captain really influences the game in any way shape or form??
  17. I've watched it for 30 years and been disappointed Fantastic when we win games but just so so disappointing when we screw up 1/4's I reckon.But............. C'mon England!!!!!!!!!
  18. well I really enjoyed it! Hope they do something similar.Reckon they have left it open enough to do so even if they say they aren't! Morale of the story......get an interesting job before you snuff it! can't imagine the in between for accountants
  19. Hello everyone. After 15 months in the wilderness I'm back.Really missed this great site and great people but finally am able to come and have a nose. Really miss our two vRS's.Fabia and Octavia but still have the Skoda passion. In fact had the privilege of having a go in a Superb tdi 170 tonight and it really was! Currently tazzing around in an MX5 with an X Trail as the work horse. Also got an old Mini Cooper(1999) for some real fun. Will post some pics(thank God for the AA!) Hope the usual suspects still on here. Will have a good look around. Cheers you lot! Loz
  20. Good luck! Thought it was dramatic moving down the road next week and due to be Briskodaless for a while. There is a pic on here somewhere of a 4x4 that I'm sure was taken in Canada. It's parked next to a Range Rover and the Range Rover looks tiny next to it. Get one of those babies
