My Tfsi is running Shark stage 2, and it is fast, the PD140 is absolutely no comparison, I just thought the CR being 170 standard remapped to 200 ish but with 350+ lb/ft would give even a mapped one a run for it's money?

Carl is very clued up regarding who's who in the remap scene. I'm not sure why he switched but he must of had good reason. Which map do you think is awesome, APR or Revo? Incidentally, I was chatting to an APR sales rep yesterday at work, he was enjoying his experience in there demo Golf R running a claimed 370bhp, it certainly looked and sounded like it had that sort of horse power ........

235/40 will be find on that width wheel, I wouldn't go to a 35 profile though! Make sure you post some pictures whdn it's all done. The ride height quoted for the H&R springs, is that -45/50 from standard height or vRS height?

vRS Carl was running an APR map on the assassin, he has since changed to the 'Go play' Revo software.

That's an interesting view, I am looking to change mind next year and at the moment I can't decide between the CR Tdi or the TSi. Swmbo has a Golf GT with the PD140 engine, standard it was poor, but Shark'd it's very good. By comparison the CR is s far superior engine and with higher power I thought it would be comparable mid range to a standard Tfsi. Apologises for the thread hijack.

Morning chaps, I know this has been covered a few times, but it seems I have a dead wiper motor, basically a couple of days ago it just wouldn't work, then it made an effort but stuck midway through a wipe, after a couple of tries it worked again but only for a couple of wipes. After removing the wiper arm it seems to work better? My question is, has anyone had the same symptoms, and was it the motor? I can get a replacement for approx' 70 quid so not a big issue! Thanks in advance -

My retro fitted CC stopped working, so I stripped the stalk and cleaned the contacts with a contact cleaner, reassembled now working schweet! That is the problem, it is a prequel!! In the original, they find the derelict ship, which is clearly the one which crashes in Prometheus (on LV 223, which in Aliens is called LV 426?!?). While investigating the derelict they find the Space Jockey/Engineer at the controls and they comment on the fact there is a hole in his chest, which looks like something has burst out of it!! Clearly the ending of Prometheus is explaining how the Alien evolved so all that needed to happen was the Engineer (once the Queen facehugger fell off) staggered back to his ship, climb in the control seat and boom out pops Darwin's creation ........ but instead the 'Alien' is born on the escape pod? Not that it's important, but other things like the wreckage of the Prometheus and it's life pod dotted around the derelict which if the Nostromo's crew didn't see, the colonists in Aliens would have found? Despite all this, I loved it!!

......... any big fans of the Alien(s) franchise want to discuss the epic fook up at the end? And the modest continuity errors contained throughout?

Problem solved, one of the LED's was dying, replaced both with a set I got for swmbo's Golf from HID's Direct.
