  1. Hi mate, I went in 2005 for my honeymoon, although we stayed on the Caya Coco's the island chain across the top of the mainland. We did do an excursion to the Havana then down on to the Caribbean side and swam with dolphins, fantastic holiday and HOT!! The only thing that bothered me was the standard of living, particularly in Havana, utterly disgraceful. The people are lovely though and their work ethic was second to none, our waiter worked 14 hours a day 6 days a week for just over £13 per week in sterling equivalent, we made sure he was tipped well. A top tip, the animation teams will bite your hand off for part used toiletries and and clothes you don't want when you leave, I am still in contact with a couple of them...... You will love it!
  2. Spanner in the works, my vRS has passed it's MOT 3 years on the bubble with a HID kit fitted, requirement for an MOT is - IF self levers and headlight washers are fitted, they MUST work....... Imho if they are a good quality kit, correctly fitted and aligned and in a projector headlight housing they are as good as factory fit, in the 3 years of having them in, I have never been flashed! Edit: I went for non CANbus, and had controller 9 coded via VCDS. These are the ones I have, although they were £49.99 when I got them - :(
  3. Unlike..... At least it's not a link to Evans!
  4. I like Next stuff, but mainly get all my clothes from MandMDirect, big names for little money, tried a Superdry jacket but even the XL was tight, must be coz they're are designed by little nips, or I'm a fat ****!
  5. No, for what you was quoted, £374 for springs, fitting and 4 wheel alignment - I got change out of £250!! £112 for the springs......80 to fit, 45 for a 4 wheel alignment! But, my mechanic is cheap (but good) and I went for H&R springs.......
  6. Alan (bluevrs) has the complete set on order - bonnet, boot and wheels!
  7. For all four? Just the faces or the complete wheel!! Even for the face only, that's bloody brilliant, now I'm jealous!
  8. Agreed, they dip down toward the outside? I only have the DP and Sport Cat, but it's a 2.75" Milltek, works very nice with the Shark stage 2 software!
  9. Buy some S3 brakes, get 'em powder coated and sealed....... :p
  10. Never really timed it on mine but I can confirm that 60 - 100 on stage 2 is bloody awesome...........
  11. OMG Carl, I got quite emotional at your post..................... :p
