  2. remember reading somewhere it's because you stop quicker and more chance of getting rear ended, all down to statistics and risk figures that insurance companies use.
  3. 225/45 on your wolfrace, or 225's on your spiders will work just as well, ran 225/45 on my spiders for many track days, spiders are light compared to most other VAG wheels, 9.3KG from memory,
  4. Superchips went bust early last year, taken over by Remap Kings, do a lot of the mobile remapping, I think are just using the name for marketing purposes, so any warranties have probably been watered down.
  5. there is a list somewhere in MK1 Octy forum with all the different ratios and box codes(try a search), had a Golf box on mine can't remember the code though, your not going to really have any sort of notable difference.

  9. Mine was completely polybushed, wishbones, steering rack, dogbone, anti roll bars, rear beam, all Superpro. Powerflex Black -10mm Top mount, and rear bump stops, ECS rear spring isolators, plus THS engine mounts, always found it comfortable enough for around town and long motorway journeys and a blast on track.

  15. Sounds more like a sensor fault, possibly crank or cam sensor. Not sure where they are on diesel engine.
  16. Didn't Superchips go into liquidation? proceed with caution, look at remap elsewhere.
  17. early ones were Pirelli, P7's???, not sure on later ones, Bridgstone seems to lurking at the back of my mind.
  18. Are you sure you need one? From what I remember these make a light clicking type sound. Can be deleted if required, think it was Bowders did a thread a few years back.
  19. Needs an engine, surely the price should be £140.00. Or am I missing something.
