Broken wire in door loom, or most probably the electric window motor in the door, fills with water and corrodes the pins in the connector block, loads of threads on here to show you how to replace or repair.

Either drill out the rivets holding the 2 halves together and replace with nuts and bolts, or bypass it, plenty of threads on how to remove it and parts needed.

from what I remember its on the bulkhead, turbo inlet pipe area.

prefer this one would rather lose the VRS badges though, just my opinion

try looking for MK4 Golf ones, ECS and Eibach used to do them

should be ok if no misfires are present, if coils are getting weak, usually shows up after 5k rpm if your getting it live mapped. been a while since I've had my MK1 think at the time latest coils recommended were the ones part number ending in D or R. Otherwise enjoy life in th MK1 VRS, had mine over 12 years and lots of smiles, and many £££'s on mods.

Keep it stock, make sure it has latest coil packs, check pipes for leaks usually the Y pipe and S shaped one under the the inlet that go, clean the throttle body and fit rear roll bar, personally I'd also fit 225/45 tyres for a little extra grip, added bonus usually cheaper than 205/50.

LCR wheels fit fine, 18" though. Seat did do a 17" version on the Ibiza Cupra(6K) model designation, which I think fit due to a higher offset. Check on Seat Cupra.net, was a few threads on there on which wheels fit over Brembo's without spacers. From my time owning a MK1 the LCR alloys were always stupidly priced. from my aging memory S3 Avus alloys fitted, but are quite heavy, TT comps were another possibility and not much difference in weight compared to Spiders. Compomotive did a couple of options, all old wheels now so not sure what availability is like now.

Need to find someone breaking an LCR, to get the bits you need. BiggRed brakes may do the bits you need, or VAGBremtechnic, not sure what the prices will be like though.

From what I remember, they didn't fit behind Spiders, minimum 3mm spacer was required(i think), if your Prolites have thinner spokes and a higher offset than Spiders you could be OK.

Kopacek should of sent you a tracking number, if not ask for it, or if you do have one check Royal Mail site rather than Parcel Force. Royal were holding mine for over a month.

I've never had problem's with them, ordered some bits on Black Friday, just waiting on Royal Fail to deliver, was sat at Langley for a month with all the strikes that they've been having, hopefully should be delivered in the next few days. Was a lot easier and quicker pre-Brexit when they used DPD.

As Dean said Golf/Bora Recaro leather, very comfy and hold you in place better than any Octy seats. got mine out of a Bora. Golf 4 R32 Konig seats look great, some people find them uncomfortable due to the wings in the shoulder area, and very hard to find and ridicously expensive at the time I changed my seats. S3 Recaros also fit. LCR fit but not an improvement on Octy seats.
