  1. Second that. Worth every penny, although a little difficult to get your head around it initially.
  2. 13 weeks holiday a year, working in a school. Although, got myself a new job with the usual 4 weeks/28 days leave holiday a year - genuineley don't know how I'll cope.
  3. If Diana was still here, none of this would have happened! :moon:
  4. Thanks mate. That's what I wanted to hear. It's not going to take me much persuasion I can tell.
  5. Well the PCP deal is over 4 years, so I imagine we would either sell it privately or trade it in if its worth more than GFV, after that. I do like the diesel torque though. A lot.
  6. Alright chaps. The Mrs is expecting our first, and as we've got two small hatches we've been on the look out for something a bit more practical. We took ourselves to the local Skoda garage today (on the basis that I wanted a look at the Octy vRS ). Anyway, fell in love with it despite it being a facelift model, which I initially thought I didn't like the look of. We had a test drive of the diesel and it was a very different experience to my Clio 172. But actually very enjoyable and I really liked the power delivery. The Mrs would be predominantly using it, which would be a 7 mile round trip for work and then a trip to Middlesbrough or Blackpool once a month, which is about 150 miles from us in Wakefield. So realistically were looking at 8k miles a year max. So my question is, is getting a diesel worthwhile financially and would doing such short trips for the majority of the time not even be healthy for the car? Cheers in advance for any advice.
