Intermittent loss of power initially and then the car would become undriveable until the coil light started to flash. Throttle pedal signal implausible was the stored code. I replaced the pedal and it was perfect again, being a manual car it didn't need coding.

His is dsg, BLS failure with a dsg car will lock the gear lever in P.

Similar to yourself I had the dreaded overboost sticking vanes problem with my 07 Octavia, I also had drivability problems which were caused by a failed throttle pedal, so without the code it could be anything.

What code is being stored after the failure occurs?

Anyone able to help me identify the front indicator bulb type in my 21 FL superb? They seriously need to be replaced with LEDs as they genuinely cannot be seen when the headlights are on. The manual shows how to replace them but doesn't say what type they are, they look like a push-in type bulb.

It's no harm on the FL MK3 Octavia, the standard halogen lights on them are absolutely dreadful, they reminded me of the fiat 128 my father had🤢🤢

That's the thing, a lot of coolant would have leaked into the tray before being spotted.

I have an IV with 6 speeds, where would I find out what type of box it is?

It's a ridiculous system, there are far too many buttons and the light output from the bulbs is terrible.

I thought the pump was on the O/S on the TSI.

Did you have a look to see where it's coming from?

Is it still the case that 6 speed is wet and 7 speed is dry?

With only 11,000 km on them? They're the OEM tyres that came with the car.

You keep comparing your Octavia to a superb which makes no sense. I now have a superb with 18' wheels and DCC suspension and the road noise is shocking compared to the lowly standard suspension car with 16" wheels it replaced. It's a big disappointment tbh. I agree with you 100%.

Definitely try the basic settings first before adjusting anything. I certainly noticed a huge improvement in light output from my xenon's if they were given a quick clean, the washers didn't seem to get them clean enough sometimes.

Faster charging would make me happy. With the 45 minutes time restrictions on public chargers it makes public charging pointless.
