  1. I don't know if it is or not, I was hoping it was just restricted by software.
  2. Yes there is a dedicated sport button. I tried it once but it seemed to use the engine all the time even though there was plenty of battery available, the engine only switched off when stopped at a junction and would immediately restart as soon as I moved off, very lively drive though πŸ’₯πŸ’₯
  3. Does anyone know if there's an update available to give 7Kw charging?
  4. They will also come on if the wipers come on for more than 3 successive wipes.
  5. There's a brilliant guide here to do it yourself, why pay a dealer silly money?
  6. Drove as close as I dared to the front pier but the camera never turned on.
  7. Very good I'll try that later too.
  8. I just checked mine while driving in my front gate which is quite tight, the radio stations stay on and the black panel overlays them from the left showing a graphic of the car etc. The camera doesn't activate. I've never tried pressing the P button I'll try that later.
  9. Why would you need the reversing camera on when the object being detected is in front of you?
  10. My camera doesn't turn on when approaching an obstacle a black section appears on the screen with a diagram of the car showing where the obstacle is.
  11. Changing battery reserve will make no difference, from starting if not changed to hybrid mode the car will drive on battery until it runs out. Battery reserve is used for charging if it's set to 30%, when you plug in it will charge to 30% immediately ignoring any timers etc.
  12. My brake lights stay on while on autohold, I need to manually apply the handbrake to get them to turn off.
  13. My car is march 21 and I have a OnePlus 9 but wireless Android doesn't work. Do you have WiFi turned on in the car? I think I'm missing something obvious here.
  14. I rarely use B mode tbh I find it very tiresome having to keep rocking the throttle pedal, I prefer D mode and glide... I don't think B mode brings the car to a complete stop I'll have to try it out.
  15. Yes, there are different views available I'd say you just need to change it.
  16. I replaced my oem judder buckets with those Bosch aerotwin wipers I bought from my local autofactor they fitted perfectly. Skoda wipers have downhill terribly in the last few years.
  17. I'll ask about it when I'm getting it serviced, although I don't have much faith in dealers doing anything you ask them, I'm usually met with a blank stare...
  18. No joy with wireless Android unfortunately, works perfectly with the cable. Wireless apple carplay looks to be supported, I'll try with an iPhone and see how it works.
  19. I wonder does my Superb have it? I've never used Android auto on this car, either wired or wireless, will give it a try later.
  20. Does the Octavia have wireless Android? I thought wireless only worked with iOS.
  21. Think I'll stick with the Superb mine already has tsr I activated hba using my obd11 for free. It's a 21 car.
  22. I think that applies more to a full electric vehicle than a phev. 80% of my battery would give very little driving, it doesn't stay at 100% for long😐
  23. I thought you needed to make the first connection using a cable and wireless carplay would work after that was done. Maybe they've left the WiFi module out because of the shortages.
  24. A full charge of 13Kw takes about 4.5 hours. A good bit slower than max but certainly faster than the granny cable.
  25. I have a Superb iV. I have a home chargepoint and have the car on scheduled charging via the Skoda app, the app suggested I use a reduced charge rate to improve battery life which I selected, there definitely has been an improvement in battery life which was abysmal.
