  1. I didn't see anything unpolite about your question either, anyway thanks for the offer for help from the manual and let us know how you get on with your sensor.
  2. Be careful or you'll be told it's your fault...
  3. They're terrible things to say. Of course it's the cars problem if there are warning lights popping up all over the place and the rear suspension is clunking and clanking like a galley ship, with only 17K on the clock I'd be ****ed off too. Hopefully he'll get sorted... Hopefully...
  4. Seriously? I didn't think presentation of your car was a requirement to ask a question on this site. I didn't "present" any of my Skoda's since joining briskoda... Small wonder these types of forums are dying off....
  5. Every 15,000km I'm in Ireland.
  6. I've always had my cars serviced with the main dealer, no mention of anything to do with fuses etc.
  7. Which box would my iV have?
  8. I got mine serviced about 3 weeks ago and the only mention of a recall was to get an Aircon pipe replaced which was done last Monday. I was getting those endless updates since getting it serviced and I kept installing them when sitting in the car, they seemed to have finally stopped.
  9. The argenta was the 132 I think. A boss of mine had a diesel Mirafiori, a rough beast but had a fair bit of poke for the time. The 130 was a luxurious machine too. I think we've drifted.... Away from tyres😏
  10. They were a great car. I drove several Fiat's over the years and always found their dealers very customer focused and parts were very cheap. Such a shame they've all but disappeared.
  11. Many thanks for that I'll certainly consider them when changing.
  12. Well I couldn't have been more wrong... Mine are 235/45 18's Goodyear asymmetric 5 and they're as noisy as hell I can't wait to be rid of them. Any suggestions?
  13. Are they much quieter? I have 235/35's on my car and they're very noisy.
  14. Well done to pin it down, that noise would do your brain in.
  15. 😆😆 Great in theory, terrible in practice mine ended up like a bar of aero and suffered the same fate 🤬🤬
  16. That was my first time using the apps I normally only used the long coding, I'm strictly a colour by numbers long coder, somebody else finds it and I just follow blindly ☺️
  17. Thanks for replying I had never used the apps before but I found a very good guide on the old faithful YouTube, it worked a treat, many thanks. There are other ones there that I might try out, auto lock when you walk away looks very handy.
  18. Thanks for that, what app is it? The long press is a much better system.
  19. I took it off my iV I found it made the car very lurchy around town especially in B mode.
  20. That Ford system has been around since the early 2000 it can use peak voltages of 18V so can easily fry another cars components if used to jump start another car. The days of the Lucas 17ACR are long gone.
  21. I just got 2 twin USB plug in things in dealz, one for the front and one for the back, sorted 😎😎
  22. My Superb is the same although the engine does warm up very quickly. In cold weather I never select hybrid mode until I'm on the open road.
  23. 😆😆😆 Dsg gate...
  24. Ignition on, foot on the throttle for 20 seconds ignition off. I didn't notice anything at first until I went to work the next day where I noticed it was in much higher gears than usual in certain parts of the quite short journey.
  25. I reset mine yesterday on the iV, I've definitely noticed a difference, it changes up much more quickly.
